no hot water

How do you shoes with the room in the hot water wasn’t hot enough basically took a shower with cold water

It was dirty and there were stains all over the rugs and the beds.

It’s outdated and dirty.

Hotel below standard for the chain and the location. Facilities need a lot of work. Staff not very friendly

The tv channel selection. The lights worked in the room. The water worked

This place is filthy. Reeks of cigarettes despite being non smoking , Staff is coke and distant. Everything pretty much is broken or dirty , carpet had stains that look grotesque and might possibly feces. Tub too filthy to use. Towels already dirty upon arrival , fan system creates an even more unpleasant odor.

Everything Especially the Staff very Friendly...I've been here going on 3wks dis Saturday and I must say that I'm Very Very Satisfied with the Comfortability, Hospitaly, the price is reasonable and the Staff Members on every shift are Very Very Friendly. I will Definitely recommend a Family member or friend to stay here at the Howard Johnson in Clifton NJ..😊 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me ...

some off the room need a little bit more maintenance on the walls and doors. maybe replace the outside carpet. looks wear down.

There was nothing intriguing about this property

I was told I can not extend my stay due to “looking drunk.” My stay ended with the police being called and the property being told they were in the wrong. The property does have bedbugs.

The people at the front desk are rude, nasty and won’t book your room or refund your reservation if anyone staying with you “looks drunk.”

The location was good for my needs. Close to stores, restaurants.

Room needs an upgrade very dark needs more lighting especially in bathroom. Had to run shower for several minutes before warm water.

the location was great. very easy to get too.

almost everything. first we got there the hotel clerk was very short when speaking to us then we finally got our room it was all the way on the other side of the hotel. after we got to our room, we tried to wash up. the tub started filling up with water like the drain was clogged. also my wife tried to brush her teeth and the sink started filling up like it was clogged also. finish showing and started getting dressed then we started smelling smoke like someone was smoking in the room next door. so we decided that we going to ask to have our rooms changed. we went to the counter and asked for our room to be changed and the clerk acted as if I was lying, I’m glad I had my wife take picture so I could show them.
