I needed a room for one night for an early morning appointment. I found the Blue Angel Hotel and was impressed by their prices, especially with how nice the pictures were. I figured there had to be a catch. But in fact everything exceeded my expectations. The room was very spacious and very clean and updated. There was even a little area for me to get some work done. A+! Plus complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby at all hours. I only wish I could have stayed longer. If I'm ever back in the area, this is my apot?!

Nice hotel, with a friendly staff, a great location, expensive. But it is a hotel, with all its pluses and minuses. I still rate it as very good.

The worst internet I had in my recent travels, including Puerto Rico, Mexico from Yucatan to Puerto Vallarta, and a cabin in North Wisconsin. Do not expect to work there relying on the Internet.

Loved the friendly staff and location close to multiple subway stations.

The room was small, which was fine, but it made the HVAC blow on me all night, which was a little uncomfortable.

The room was small without windows and the shower was small and had a step up which I thought a bit dangerous- but such is NY.

the staff were amazing, so so friendly. we encountered 3 different people in our 2 nights and they were all so helpful and friendly. the location is great with good restaurants/bars nearby. we forgot to check out the roof area as were were hardly there on our quick visit. it was super clean - which is something I’m very picky about. the shower was so good. we had come from another accommodation that had a terrible shower so this was great.

at night there were a lot of people outside the hotel looking for cash, this does not bother me but might feel a bit unsafe if you are alone. I’m not sure you would find anywhere without this aspect in NY though.

Everything was great, but didn't know how to turn off air conditioner. We tried to find a solution together with stuff, but it was still working :D Prices could be lower, but it is NewYork :)

Nice hotel in Midtown Manhattan. The room was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

The windows in my room could not be opened.

Location was pretty amazing. Very cool little rooftop patio. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a minor issue with the A/C and they fixed it immediately.

My room had a 'view' of a brick wall. Maybe replace the tattered desk chair? Everything else was classy and it stuck out, not a biggie.

Location was ideal for me. I could walk to everywhere I needed to go. The room overlooked a private outdoor seating area available to all guests. I have already recommended this hotel to several friends.

Coffee and Tea were only available in the lobby not in the room which meant that when I got up in the morning I had to shower and get dressed and go down to the lobby from my room on the 7th floor in order to get a cup of coffee.

One of your staff was very impolite, rude and not professional. She needs more training with the words she chooses in approaching different kinds of people she serves during her shift hours or work. Thanks

Rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lovely bed and shower. Free coffee on demand at reception. Amazing location - just off Lex, walking distance to 5th avenue and all the sights. A stones throw from Central Park. Really helpful and friendly staff - shout out to Mara who went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. For the ladies - hairdryer was surprisingly good!! Mini bar stacked with free drinks and snacks.

Coffee machine in room would have been nice but this is not an issue really

I was not expecting anything other than the basics for this low price in a key area. There was nice coffe in the entrance of the hotel and that was helpful to start my very hectic day It was quiet. The single elevator was not noisy The lady at the front desk was lovely. The location was excellent for my purposes. The ease of checking and checkout was good

The furniture was all highly scratched and the covering of the desk chair was peeling. There was a peculiar odor in the room, similar to the odor you would have with Febreeze. There was no bathmat , no soap, There was no orientation information for the room. The shabbiness was upsetting. The bed lonen was good.
