Big rooms. Right on the water. Nice Small beach to swim. Bike storage was available in a separate area or in your room. Close proximity to several great restaurants and kayak rental.
Breakfast was available but only in your room. Deck chairs were cheap and bent/ broken.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön direkt am Wasser. Wir hatten von unserem Zimmer aus direkten Blick auf den malerischen Hafen.

The view was wonderful and the staff were friendly
The facility is not well maintained. Two pool shower heads not working, shag carpet in stairwell was grungy.

brilliant view and super comfy beds! best beds on our entire trip! the restaurant upstairs is brilliant!

Bed was not comfortable, view was very good, nice kitchen set up, value for money not good, high prices for an old hotel with some select upgrades in the room.
Value for money - relative high price for older hotel particularly in the common areas - hallways etc. Paint had been slapped on old drywall, seemed no effort or pride in finishing walls for decent look.

We love the view from the rooms, the facilities, the location. It's a beautiful part of Vancouver Island. You can park the car in the free guest parking then walk everywhere you need to go. Shops, water adventure, restaurants and cafe.

Loved the location and it was very pet friendly.
The staff wasn’t particularly helpful when I got sick and my family phoned the front desk to inquiry on the nearest doctor or pharmacy.

The location is breathtaking! So peaceful and beautiful. The room was amazing! New and clean with modern appliances. The bed was so comfortable and the sofa bed is the best I’ve ever seen in any hotel! The staff were amazing and so friendly. I was so pleased to be able to bring our big fluffy Malamute there! I felt the love everyone showed him…from the treats to the pet package in the room, and all the attention and head scritches from everyone, he was spoiled!
Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night but are definitely staying there again in the future!!

The view from our room, location, cleanliness, the suite was spacious.
The exercise equipment was old and in disrepair. Rower was loud and needed servicing, treadmill was out of order. Elliptical was old and could not get it to work, was not working. The one exercise mat was old and cracked.

cooking facilities are very useful for us, rooms are big and cozy; location is great by the ocean with many good breakfast and brunch places nearby

Huge room with spectacular view.
Bathtub was on the small side and slippery. Tub mat tucked away in the cupboard, did not see it until later.
