Air conditioner wouldn’t change fan speed. Only one small container of shampoo was provided for a 3 day stay. Breakfast was mediocre but coffee was great.

The room was nice an quiet and loved being on the main floor this time
The mattress left a little bit to be desired. It was lumpy and very soft and I like a firm mattress. Maybe it’s time to replace it

Nothing
State of the property - old and a bit run down. Accommodation over perfumed for whatever reason!!! Very dated and not up to our expectations. So disappointing after driving 10 hours from the Nova Scotia Ferry.
We decided we couldn't actually stay and found an alternative accommodation. We contacted Abba property about a refund as we were booked to stay for three nights, but they haven't acknowledged our request. We never saw a member of staff. Our key was in an envelope in the entrance.

Beautiful house and part of town, Tim Horton's and free overnight parking (the spot we used was in a lot up from Cathedral Street, 5pm-9am) a couple minutes walk away.
We enjoyed our stay!! It was quiet and private, my only suggestion would be maybe some instant coffee in the room as there were only teas, there was coffee available downstairs just the convenience of not leaving the room is all.

Excellent location close to everything in the downtown area. My room had a wonderful view of the harbour. Tasteful period decor added to the overall charm, and all facilities were clean and well planned. Unfussy contactless check in and out. Excellent value for money.

The host was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I had payment issues and he sorted them out smoothly.
It is perfect.

The hosting style was very unusual- completely invisible! There was no one at the BnB when I arrived, just a key in an envelope. Despite my stay being in the Fall, the bed had just sheets and a very thin coverlet. I requested a blanket for my bed through three different email addresses., The first night I slept with my Fall coat and a rough travel blanket from my car. On the second day a nice blanket appeared in the hall outside my door.
The 'breakfast' was almost entirely highly sugared, sweet items. I just had toast and coffee.

Lovely Inn and very well located, close to the main streets! I was in room 5 which has a beautiful view and which was very comfortable and cozy.
I arrived a bit earlier than expected and contacted the owner to ask if I could go in earlier. They answered promptly and told me when the room was ready.
I didn't require a room cleaning so I don't know how the service is.
Otherwise they offer a breakfast that you can access (I think all day even if it says during some hours) and by breakfast I mean little pastries, cereals, bread, tea/coffee in a cute kitchenette in the basement.
I would definitely stay there again!

Location was great. It has the potential to be a very good accommodation. It is a rather funky old building with some interesting features
There was a very thin bed covering. It is October. We had to pie our coats on the bed to be warm enough. Probably the worst breakfast we have had. Everything was sugared! Sugary cereal, sugary pastries, white bread. There was some fruit, and there was real butter and real milk and cream which was nice. The coffee was a very poor brand and we couldn’t justify making a whole pot for just two of us. We didn’t meet anyone there- no staff and no other guests.

The location was great and the feel of a cute old house was nice. it was beautiful from the outside. The breakfast was good too.
The rooms are very congested and the toilets have no ventilation. Our room smelled like cigarettes and there was pungent smell throughout the room for our entire stay.

The location is very convenient to most of the places I wanted to go. Bed was very comfortable!
I should have said I would prefer a lower floor. I am not a young person, and 3 floors with luggage was a chore. It would help to have a map of the area, although this is criticism of the city and Abba Inn. Finding street names was a problem.

Close to downtown. The outside of the building was attractive.
Not very clean. Our room looked shabby and unkept. Blew a breaker in the breakfast room and no one answered the phone or acknowledged my email regarding it. Carpet going into the breakfast room stained and dirty.

We had a nice room, I think likely one of the best - #5 on the 3rd floor. Nice bay window looking towards the harbour in the distance. However, the room beside us looked at a brick wall, so be choosy.
Directions about parking were not clear. Breakfast was sparse, just muffins and cereal, no juice, etc.

Check in was easy. Location is good. But we could not get over the smell of the place. Windows were barred shut so We couldn’t air it out. On the bright side parking was easy.

No breakfast

The "breakfast" consisted of some stale pastries and bread, undrinkable coffee and occasionally an apple or orange. It was terrible.
The room couldn't have been more different from the picture! It was dank, dark, drab gray, tiny, had no view (other than the wall of the next building about 3 feet away),the sink was cracked, the shelves in the desk were broken, the TV had 3 channels intermittently available, water pressure in the toilet was low, the mattress on the bed was soft and sagging & there was no cushion on the 2 chairs; the seats were as hard as concrete. The carpet to the basement where "breakfast" was available was filthy; there were stains all over it and crumbs and detritus that wasn't vacuumed while we were there. Rooms were not "made up" even when the sign requesting this was placed on the door.
