Perfect. I booked for 1 night but stayed 2. The staff was very friendly. The room was comfy and clean and exceeded my expectations for what I paid.

My second stay in two weeks! Very convenient location for skiing at Calabogie or Pakenham or XC skiing in the Ottawa area. Very clean, comfortable and well run. Close to all amenities.

A lovely renovated property….very clean. Reception staff was very welcoming.

Awesome motel! Great location just off 17, near several fast food restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy. Extremely clean and comfortable with great wifi and room amenities including a TV, microwave, bar fridge, ironing board, iron, dinette table with two chairs, coffee set. The heater was incredibly effective. I am guessing the AC would be just as good. Very well renovated. Amazingly the bath/shower drain worked. I often stay at Deltas and Sherations where the shower doesn't drain. First class!

Hard to think of anything. I was using the table for my laptop and it would have been great if there was a more comfortable chair for working.

Liked the location in relation to where I was visiting. The bed was very comfortable, and bathroom shower was great with plenty of hot water. Air conditioner/heater was quiet and worked as it was programmed to do

the location was perfect for our trip.

it looks very nice but there’s zero substance behind the looks. the road is extremely noisy, the beds caved in, in the middle and when we spoke with the owner about these problems he was telling me that I’m wrong. He told me that all of the items were very nice therefore they couldn’t sag in the middle. He offered nothing to help and was completely unapologetic. We got a room with a kitchen with no kitchen amenities (pots, pans, plates. silverware etc.)

we had 2 rooms because we have 3 boys who are bigger than most adults. The rooms were so clean and smelled fresh. The owners obviously take pride in motel. The beds were also very good, most comfortable I’ve had in a hotel or motel but all double beds in rooms with 2 beds. Still, my husband and I were good in the double and had a great nights sleep. The owner is also so nice, very kind and helpful. Oh, and it didn’t say here, but every room also has a good size mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine.

If I have to something, maybe more outdoor chairs. there were only 4 or so for 6 rooms. It was fine because no one was using them at the time we went out. I suspect they have more in storage for the season but the owner is so nice, just ask for a chair if you need one.

The husband was totally JUDGEMENTAL and Biased. I booked a room for my daughter, with mental health problems, because she had a tough week, I thought this would relax her and give her a nice night to herself without me around. HE ran to my car door, and yelled at me as I tried to pull out in traffic...as if I was doing something wrong by giving my 23 year old daughter a nice night at a motel not far from my place. She was 23, I couldn't hear what he was yelling at my side window as I pulled into traffic to leave, something about "can't do that!" or whatever. WHAT a judgemental ass! She's 23, and no harm to anyone. THEN the wife, the next morning, kicks my daughter out to the curb, at exactly (not one minute later) 11 am, and made her wait for me to arrive to pick her up (OUTSIDE, COLD, MID-OCTOBER). My daughter called the hubby to ask if she could just stay a tiny while more while she waited for me to arrive (a little late, like 25 minutes)... and he told me NO. When I went into the office to complain, the WIFE started shouting at me that they did NOT say NO to her, that my daughter was lying, that I was some God-awful parent for leaving my 'child' there overnight. She YELLED AT ME as I was trying to leave with my daughter, in my car. I GUESS you have to meet certain moral criteria of theirs, to be treated well at this place. WORSE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE !! These people sat in judgement of me and my daughter, and she didn't say PEEP, didn't trash the place, didn't say one disrespectful thing to them. And here I thought they were business owners. WELL THEY ARE NOT, they are the High-and-Mighty judges of what is right and wrong. THEY SHOULD NOT GET A PENNY FROM ANYONE !

The location was good, mattresses were comfortable. The staff were very good.

The internet was spotty. The “decor” was absolutely frightening and distracting. It was as if a colour blind person put it together. No breakfast was available. The bedding was poor; ancient sheets and uncomfortable bedspreads for blankets.

The clean modest room had everything one needs: fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, comfortable bed and the receptionist gave me kettle to use so I could make tea.
