However, there we two containers of food left in the refrigerator., had to take them down to the front desk myself since she was by herself, the ice bucket is too small results in more trips to elevator and down to floor beneath use to get more ice, we were not told that there is a thermostat on the wall that controls the Ac/ heating unit under window. Front desk seemed confused about how to check in third party reservations and one had to train the other as we waited. Went to dinner at penthouse at 6:30 pm. Placed order for Philly sandwich at 6:45. Drinks came at 7:00pm. Was told at 7:15 our order would be out soon. Three other separate couples came in. One ordered a salad with chicken toile 15 minutes to get salad, but no chicken. Next couple ordered steak dinner. Got food in 30 minutes. We ordered second drink now 7;45 pm. Women with Togo salmon dinner got hers at 8:15 and left. We were told they didn’t have the roll necessary for the sandwich . We told waitress just bring us white bread. She came back at 8:30 pm. and said the computer wasn’t working and wouldn’t let the cook make the sandwich. I paid for two drinks and gave her a $10.00 tip. TWO HOURS AND NEVER GOT OUR FOOD!
Went back to the room and went to bed at 10:00pm. Wife has a medical condition that causes her go to the bathroom several times a night and each time I woke up because of a squeaky door hinges.
Got up 8:00 am next day. Went up for breakfast. Was expecting to enjoy a buffet as advertised, but was told I would have to order from menu. I ordered two eggs over easy- got over hard. Ordered toast - got soggy light toast floppy toast. Ordered beacon - was great. Ordered 3 pancakes - tasted sour. Also: had to ask for syrup, salt & pepper, eating utensils, jelly and hard plates. Who forgets the essentials? Worst experience in our lives at a hotel. This is Hilton Doubletree for heavens sake. Parked underneath hotel.

If I could give 10 stars I could! The staff was extremely helpful and had some of the best customer service I've ever received in any hotel! They went above and beyond in more ways than one. I was greeted from the time I walked in the door and every time until i checked out. The people there really take the time to make sure your stay is a great one! But not just the front desk but the also housekeeping because the room was extremely clean. I am a former hotel manager and am extremely picky so I know the importance of a clean room. Everything was spotless! I also had great service at the restaurant upstairs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Thank you all!

I loved the location. We toured the penitentiary and the capitol, so we were well located for everything, as well as Prison Brews and High Rise Bakery.
My only complaint is that the water in the hot tub was really low. It was at my elbows. The rest of the pool was great. The pool water is the perfect temperature and the pool deck is covered in traction strips to make up for the slick surface. I just wish the hot tub had been a normal depth. I don't know if that's the hotel's fault or if kids were doing cannonballs into the hot tub.

Comfortable bed, decent location.
Room was downgraded due to a previous guest making the room we were supposed to have unusable. That in itself was fine, but being charged the same price for our downgraded room was not. Tried to reach the hotel via a message (desk was busy all in-person times) and had no response. Because desk was busy, at check in we were not offered the cookies or water, and we had nothing about the hotel explained to us: how to get to our room, how to use the elevator key, when breakfast was, where the facilities were... nothing. We had to figure it out for ourselves and it was our first stay there.
Specks of something in the ice machine. Ew.
And while I appreciated the nice hot bath, weirdly enough we couldn't get any cold water from the bathroom tap.
Interactins with the housekeeping staff was nice and polite, and was happy to get some emergency toothbrushes and toothpaste since we forgot ours.

We had a little "hiccup" with our room upon check in but it was handled quickly and professionally. Enjoyed interactions with the staff, always courteous and polite. Definitely will stay here again.

the website said it had free parking. However it did NOT say limited spaces . when we asked where else we could park (when we came back from the governor’s ball) they said the street and then ignored us. I thought they had extra parking under the hotel. when I got up to go out money in the meter, I had a parking ticket in my car. I missed the time by 20 minutes.

We Loved the spa bath inside the bedroom was very romantic/relaxing for a weekend away with Mylove! Also both bedroom and front room had nice size tv!
The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the soap and shampoo/conditioner was cheap for the money spent I had hoped not to have to go buy extra for the stay.

The location was good for us since we were attending an event at State Tech in Linn.
We just completed a two night stay at the Doubletree Hilton in Jefferson City. We paid a bit more for the breakfast included rate but wish we wouldn’t have, given the kitchen issues. The first morning we waited one hour and 10 minutes for an omelette and fruit, and eggs & bacon, biscuits & gravy. The other 5 or so tables were having to wait as well. It was clear the waitress was bringing food out as soon as it was ready, but it was slow going. That evening we decided to have dinner out but then have dessert at the restaurant. When we tried to do that, we were told they were on a limited menu and had no dessert. When we returned to our room after our first day of activity in Jeff City at 4:30 pm it was clear housekeeping had not been to our room. When my husband went down to the desk to ask about getting more towels, etc he asked about housekeeping and was told you had to request housekeeping if you wanted it because they were still on a reduced staff due to Covid. This information would have been good to have either before we booked or at the very least upon checkin. When we checked out we asked about a reduced rate since we didn’t attempt to eat breakfast on day two knowing the wait would be too long to allow us to get to our day’s activities. We were told because we’d used booking.com they couldn’t do anything for us. We apparently paid $50 more than what the price would have been directly through the hotel’s website. I’m not a complainer. I rarely report issues or ask for some sort of compensation/remedy but I am a small business owner and if a customer had this experience in my store, I would want to know.

Beds were comfortable, room was decent size.
Did not get the room I booked. Did not get compensation for getting the wrong room. Hot tub in the facility was broken the entire duration of my stay. Half the staff were unpleasant to talk to/try to resolve the wrong room situation.

Vanessa was the main reason this stay was awesome. The booking site didn't put my name down right so they couldn't find my reservation then found out they sent my reservation to the wrong email address so the property didn't have it. But vanessa went above and beyond to ensure we got rhe reservation. If I am abke to go back to this property it is becauae she made everything great.
