The surroundings, the facilities, the private beach, the view, the hotel design, the possibility to rent a kayak for free and enjoy the lake.
The only accessible pool for children is inside.
Food was quite expensive for an average quality. No vegetarian option at lunch.

Stunning log hotel with beautiful views all around.
The bellhop is a little presumptuous and rude. He looks at you almost begging for a tip.

location. decor and facilities
Room was quite small for 4 adults. Some members of staff seemed grumpy.

The beach close to the lake
The food was not that great, for Covid reasons you could have access to a buffet which was not that great and very expensive. Same for the breakfast
The restaurant was much better but expensive
we stayed there 3 days and our room hasn’t been cleaned during our stay for Covid reasons again
There is no air conditioning in the rooms

The location is just fantastic.
No tv, no airco, no mini fridge and no room cleaning.

A splendide view
Missing a little fridge in the room

the nature, the place and area is amazing.
many things are included by default.
full spa access worth the money
due to workforce shortage, dinner was made of buffet. meat was good but the vegetables and other things were not at the level of such a place

silence and contact with nature. The beach is excellent!
The bedroom carpet was dirty. We found a pill and a bottle and water, near one of the beds. The room had a very small window, no air conditioning so it was impossible on the extreme heat. I do not recommend the restaurant, regular food for an extremely expensive price

very nice atmosphere and natural setting. very spacious room with large balcony with superb view. All the free extras down at the beach on the lake (kayaks, canoes, paddle board) as well as very helpful and friendly staff there. multiplicity of trails from the hotel.
missed air conditioning in the room but got used to fan in the end. There was a nice coffee machine in the room but as there is no
room servicing you have to ask for capsules each day.
Enjoyed a number of the trails which were quite well signposted but map provided a bit iffy.
Unfortunately a buffet was the only option in the restaurant at night during our stay and that would have been a bit too pricey for us.

l’emplacement, le style original de l’hotel

The terrasse and play room only
Rooms are old and not clean. The structure as a whole needs a lot of maintenance. This is not the Sacacomie Hotel where I have been 15 years ago, where everything was flawless….

Place is beautiful. Rooms are confortable. Personel is friwndly enough.
Everything is charged extra. Including the outdoor pools. Beach is far and the road is closed. Restaurant is good, but expensive.

the restaurant. excellent food
needs to be renovated.

the setting is wonderful, the scenery as well and it has a few paths to walk on the property
the restaurant was a big disappointment, it was a buffet but wasn’t cheap for the quality and choice of the food, most of it was cold. I do understand that with the Covid restrictions it has been difficult, so maybe that’s the main reason.

- The building itself is a wonder, such a beautiful piece of art and architecture..
- The scenery: Breathtaking views of the lake and the surroundings.
- Food quality is OUTSTANDING. It may look expensive but the portions and the taste are amazing! We really loved.
- The Spa was food, very pleasant.
- The staff, very helpful and professional!
- Late checkout and you can still enjoy some outdoor activities after that.
We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.
- Hiking trails were a bit confusing. Signs must improve.
- The hotel should have more activities at night. The spa closes at 7pm, too early, specially for the outdoor pools. Nothing else to do after that.
- A Tv in the room would be appreciated.

I was very pleased to see how clean and well maintained the property was. Linens were impeccable. Our room was very quiet which is great. I see that corners were not cut even though we're still in a pandemic, they have maintained their high standards. We also stayed here four years ago for spring break and we were very happy back then as well. We really enjoyed doing dogsledding as a family. My husband and son did skidooing and they had a great time also. Staff all around are very professional and willing to please.
The restrictions to access the pool. I know they are in place because of the pandemic however, each time we'd call to book to use the pool the spa would never pick up the phone nor return messages.

Architecture of the hotel, and the cleanliness of the facilities. Very relaxing atmosphere for a getaway.
The spa facilities could be a little larger based on the size of the hotel.

We booked this place for our honeymoon months before our Big Day. We made sure to mention the purpose of this trip in the comment section of our booking.
On our wedding day (Sunday 26th), we received an email saying we must have our vaccinal passport, even if hotels are not under this government requirements because they are essential services.
We called right away the place trying to explaining the situation. The guy lost all humain reason by saying we can’t come because we don’t have our vaccinal passport but he can postponed our trip (as if we can postponed an important day as a wedding and an honeymoon). However, the hotel won’t refund the fees. After lot of debates, we argued that we need a place to stay for our honeymoon and that we won’t use their restaurant, etc. We stayed at Holliday Inn hotel during our Big Day without any issues, etc.
He agreed to speak with his manager and promised to contact us the next day (Monday 27) via Booking to let us know if we can come or not, and what will happen to our money if they do not accept us.
As he didn't respect his commitment on Monday as promise, we call the hotel and asked to talk with the director who said we can’t come to their place but they will not charged us. They will cancelled our stated via Booking. However I see the booking is still active.
We felt so violated, they put us on a lot of stress on our special day, did no follow-up and act like robot without a brain to think properly but still wanted to steal your money!
We will certainly raise your voice officially after our honeymoon and will certainly never recommend this hotel.
People tand to forget that Covid will desapear on day and how they act will reflected to their futur (and potential client like us won't forget how they treated other humain). Their losses, not ours because at the end of the day, we found a beautiful place to stay for our honeymoon. The host is excellent and she even welcome us with flowers.
