Couldn't eat breakfast due to test at Mayo. First reaction when I walked in the front door...beautiful lobby. Second reaction...the woman who helped me was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Asked for a room close to the elevator, and that is what I got; that was great. Room was very nice and clean. Bed was quite comfortable. Jake took me to the Mayo Gonda Building and picked me up. He was very personable, talked to me about Rochester and Mayo which was very interesting. If I need to go back to Mayo, I will stay at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Day of check out—staff stored our luggage — due medical appointment—-left motel early—- our room key was deactivated so upon return to collect luggage had difficult time getting back into motel threw skywalk
Swimming pool very cool, area very messy with HALF DEAD plants. Not inviting.

Breakfast was good but costly. Rome was good but noise level was terroble facing street. I woke up both morning from traffic noise outside.
Lobby was under construction and cold and dusty. Your food prep for breakfast was right next to this open for all types of dust and noise. And since we are members we thought waters were free. We were inform by front desk that we were not at a certain level only have he looked us up. So no greetings as a member.

Great downtown location with skywalk access to the Mayo Clinic and near several great restaurants.
It would have been nice to know that the property was undergoing renovation that closed their bar and lounge and the breakfast area. The carpet in our room was stained and the bed was uncomfortable.

Great location close to Mayo Clinic, with skywalk and subway access to great shops and restaurants. The staff is so friendly and accommodating.

convenience to the Mayo Clinic
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I woke up the next morning with a stiff neck and my back hurting. The location of our room was on the fifth floor, just above every loud sports car muffler, who raced up and down the street at all hour of the night, waking me. The refrigerator in our room ran all night, loud,, which also made it impossible to sleep soundly not to mention the air conditioning unit was very disturbing & really loud. We overheard conversations and everyone getting on and off the elevator as well starting @6:30AM. The room was really not decorated nicely and just felt very cold in there. The bath towels and hand towels were on their last leg & dingy. Overall, it was probably my least favorite hotel experience.
