The mattress surprised expectations. It was very comfortable and I managed to get a good night's sleep. The kitchen is big and clean. They have an excellent organization to store food in the fridge with baskets and identification.

There were no parking spot available (All were full) on the back alley not even on the street, I alone spent almost an hour to find a place to park. The doors (front and back) are difficult to open and are a bit old and I think they need to be replaced. O Pillowcases were not smelling good. They look like they haven't been washed.

Comfortable bed. Enough parking spots. Close to restaurants.

Loud noises at night.

The Dancing Bear Hostel was very cool. I only stayed for a night, and I got in, but I wish I had had time to enjoy the common spaces, and would definitely stay here if I were here in Nelson again!

Great location on baker street. Easy to fine, super friendly staff, love the no shoes rule make the place stay cleaner.

only down side was the bathroom sink needed a bit of a touch up, as there was hair over the sink throughout the day, but overall still one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed.

Location was amazing, everything you want within 500m and a shuttle up to whitewater goes from outside the door. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The kitchen has a lot of utensils for cooking and was kept really clean and tidy. Upstairs the lounge area is so comfortable to hang out with other guests in, or even to chill alone. Great storage facilities for my gear and for drying out my wet snow stuff.

Great location, walking distance to shops and the water/park. The bed was super comfortable and warm. The room was clean too and had natural light from the window which was nice. The bathrooms & shower were clean too.

The comfort, easy going nature, the people coming in and out, handiness of staying there when in Nelson, heat of the room, the manager Cindy was fantastic with everything and so was Kelly who worked there for anything I needed during my stay - made to feel very comfortable staying especially for the first time in a hostel. Would recommend to anyone to stay there and have done so since I left

Very few things I didn't like about it. Floors a little cold probably bring slippers - That's about it
