The fact that it didn’t have a flush toilet but had a pit toilet, the kitchen had no running water,so you had to go to another space to get water and wash and the water only ran hot intermittently. The stairs to the loft were very steep, and even getting down to the front door required going down a ramp that was slippery when wet. it was not what the photos lead us to expect.

The setup and concept of the property is unique, especially the chalet. It's very clean and the property owners are polite and very welcoming. We had a very comfortable and memorable stay. Highly recommended.

We passed a wonderful time in this charming guesthouse run by Lucie and Bernard close to the beautiful National Parc Mauricie - pretty place and charming hosts! the company of house animals (especially Pitoune et Anatol) gave us a lot of joy :-)
