Great ocean views. Good location to shops and food

That I couldn't stay longer

Being on the ocean and near poipu beach was great. The bed was comfortable and the unit was quiet (except for the sound of the ocean).

Our unit, 107A, was ancient and on the ground floor next to a gate and a dumpster, with dirty windows that ruined the view. If we had booked directly with the office, we could have chosen a nicer unit, instead of being dumped in a dump. If you zoom in on the sliding door in the photo, you can see the dirty glass. It was worse in person.

Location and view was great and the closeness to the ocean from the pool was amazing. Unfortunately that is really the only thing that was great about the facility, not that the accommodation could be one of the best on the island. This will take effort to make repairs and bring this destination inline with others at the same price point.

The condominium that we were in was not depicted in any of the pictures of the resort. Ours was in disrepair, out dated and not in line with the price for comparable accommodations. The carpet in both bead rooms was dirty and has a waxy film on the surface of the carpet. The bathroom with the shower was disgustingly dirty with significant saints in the standard shower tub combination. The kitchen had dated appliances with chipped cabinets and a craft table as a dinning room enter piece. There were ceiling fans but no a/c which has to make the summertime unbearable. There were two old rusty beach chairs but no umbrella or cooler which are customary in these situations, nor were they available at the office. The whole setup was sub-par with the photos and the expectations from the price paid. Disappointed!!

Loved the location and ability to watch the turtles from our balcony. Everything you could need for the beach(umbrella, chairs, water shoes, snorkel gear)was in the closet and available to use. Could easily walk to the beach which had decent snorkeling, a great sunset view, and a great spot to watch the turtles come into shore for the evening.

I wasn't a fan of the carpeting in our unit or the bed. A newer pillow top mattress and hard floors throughout would easily make this a 10.

Check in was upsetting and I had to call Booking.com for help. They called what numbers they had for your resort and no one ever picked up to help. No signs anywhere that on a Sat or Sun you are going to receive a text about 10 minutes before 3 pm checkin with the necessary info to check in. We got there at 2:30 to be greeted by a sign on the door that said they were closed on Sat and Sun and we were checking in on a Sat. Another couple was sitting in their car and also totally frustrated trying to figure out how they were going to check in. Extremely frustrating. Communication needs improving. Also, note said in our room that we could come in starting Monday 8-10 am to make our final payment and give required car info. We had an early plane flight to Maui on Monday and were going to be gone by 8 am. I called and someone did finally answer and said I could call in on Monday from airport to make that final payment. Someone needs to be answering those phone calls when people call in on the Sat or Sun-we almost booked something else with booking.com because no one was answering our calls or Booking.com calls. Ghank God our room was so nice-because we were totally frustrated when we walked into our rental and ready to leave.
