The breakfast was delicious! The pork sausages were especially tasty, and the scrambled eggs were freshly made. The staff was very attentive and helped me start a difficult day on a more pleasant footing.

There was some confusion by the front desk staff with the breakfast vouchers. I reserved a room that had breakfast included (a $14.95 value). When I checked into the hotel, I didn't receive any vouchers for breakfast, but I didn't think of it at the time. When I went to breakfast the next morning, I was presented with a bill for the meal, which I immediately took up to the front desk. The staff member on duty did not seem to be aware of the "breakfast included" option but they did give me 2 vouchers. Fortunately, I had a printed copy of my reservation in my room, and I went and brought it back so they could see that I wasn't taking advantage of them. They were very gracious, but it caused unnecessary confusion on both sides when the hotel was not fully briefed on options that some travelers may present.

The location was convenient. Free parking. Good sized room.

This is international chain and we were very disappointed that housekeeping is “complimentary” and has to be requested. When I requested at 10am, I was told there was a waiting list and they might not get to us. We stayed for 3 nights and someone coming to clean and take out trash should be standard in any self respecting hotel. Staff didn’t seem to care when we raised the hygiene concern. The breakfast had no lactose free and gluten free options and there were no vegetables. When I asked in the kitchen for poached eggs and some veggies on site, they served me raw mushrooms and onion with it. Plastic and paper cups made it even sadder and show no concern for environment. I can’t think of worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Location was perfect for our visit as we were right in the middle of the two places we were in Michigan to visit.

Pool was very cold for an indoor pool.

Great room! Very clean facilities, the laundry room was perfect for the point in our trip we were in, we were able to take home clean laundry! Front desk has plenty of quarters for the laundry also. Water got hot quickly, location is close to Walmart etc in case you need to grab anything. Will stay here again.
