I made a reservation using booking.com. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that the hotel had no available rooms. I had a confirmed reservation, but they didn’t seem to care. The assistant manager told me she could not help and suggested I call booking. This was very a very frustrating situation, as I had a 10 year old child with me, and we were both very tired. It was at 11.30pm, and I had no other option but to look for another hotel, and pay for another taxi ride.

We booked this hotel because we had a brutal overnight at Dulles -- checked in around 9pm and had to be out by 4 or 5 am. We just wanted to sleep, which was impossible! The walls here are paper thin -- I could literally hear the person in the next room's phone conversation word for word. I could also hear the peeing sound from room above us every time they went to the bathroom. I always trusted Aloft to be a good experience but this ruined it for me.

Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

We were surprised by lack of shuttle to airport. Had to arrange uber at last minute. Would not have booked if we had known.
