The breakfast is usually great whenever we stay here but this time they only had turkey sausage and it wasn't good. We still enjoyed our stay.

The staff was awesome. Booking.com messed up our reservation and the staff was awesome in assisting us in getting our room at a great rate.

The room I selected was a nice size and the bathroom was fairly large, which was nice because I’m claustrophobic.

I am anemic, which is a hassle sometimes; but the hotel thermostat could only be set as high as 74/F.. Needless to say, due to the weather at the time, my stay was fairly cold-freezing actually..

My main problem is not getting my issue resolved after talking with management. The front staff could not assist me because they didn’t have access. Not their fault. I blame management and booking.com. I will never attempt another stay with either company again.

Good for one night

We were part of a group. We had a pull out couch in our room. Other rooms with those didn't have a sheet on it. So I asked downstairs for some sheets. I went to put out the couch and out the sheet on, but she that it already had a sheet on. There were red drink stains, trash, sand, and dust. I called downstairs and was told a manager would be in at 7 am. I went downstairs with the kids at 8 am for breakfast, only to be told that the manager wasn't in and they couldn't give me a time. We had to check out at 10 am. I was told I'd get a call back. I called corporate, with NO help. They only transferred me to the frikin hotels front desk that I was standing at! I'm so frustrated. I'm waiting for a call in the morning. If not, they will hear from me until I get answers. Not to mention, at check-in, the front desk had about 6 different reservations messed up. Tried to charge me twice. Actually, I did charge another person in my group twice. Then, when we went to check out, there were cops everywhere. 6 cars got broken into the night before.

Everything was amazing from the beginning to the end.

It didn’t list on booking.com that there would be a $100 incidental fee.

Location was good. Front desk staff was polite.

First room we checked in was half cleaned. Visible dirts on the carpet. Dried spills of urine in the toilet seat. We got tranaferred in to another room. Still dirty. Wrinkled bed sheets. The room smelled cigarette smoke. We got reassigned to another room( for the third time). The room was fairly clean but has no chair. We were tired already so we had to settle on the last one.

Parking charges & traffic. Also, it would be nice to have a buffet supper on Saturday.

our bathroom had hair on the shampoo bottle that is attached to the wall. my suggestion would be taking those out and putting in single use bottles if you’re going to provide that because community bottles of shampoo and conditioner is simply not sanitary. could also hear our neighbours talking all night but that is no fault of the hotels.

Great location, near a lot of shops and dinning places. Very friendly staff.

This beautiful facility is sparkling clean with very attractive decor and a wonderful, full, hot breakfast! The staff was friendly and helpful “ above and beyond” any expectations! Mikie and Aiesha were both so kind to immediately show me how to set up Uber Ride on my phone and safely use the app to call for a ride to and from our event! My husband and I are elderly and never tried that app before; and, were it not for Mikie and Aiesha, we would have been nervous wrecks driving in Charlotte traffic! We are forever indebted to these amazing young people for making our weekend so great and relaxing!

We loved everything about our stay!! We are so thankful we chose Fairfield Inn and Suites-Matthews for our weekend trip! There is no better staff anywhere!

Management immediately fixed an issue of our room being downgraded without notice..Staff was really nice and professional.

King Suite had an lingering odor..black pieces kept falling off the door where the key goes..

location was excellent..close to things like walmart, my bank, and good restaurants, and fun things to do

pool was smaller than i expected, breakfast selection was good, but maybe give a choice of meats, like bacon and sausage instead of 1 or the other
