The bed was the best part

It was lowkey dirty. Grabbed a new towel and had hair on it… our ice bucket also had some hairs in it and the bath tub had rust on it…

Since I came to to US back in the late 80´s I have experienced Hilton´s, Sheraton´s, and Marriot´s brand domestic and international. I finally decided to stay loyal to Marriott dueto their service, accommodations consistency, regardless if you are in the US or abroad. And, as a travel agent myself, I only reccommend Marriot to my clients; "you pay a little more, but you are guarateed a service and accommodation that will meet and or exceed your expectations". And from me as a travel agent, a piece of mind. However, was a little suprised with the lack of accommodation consistency that I have been used all these years as a loyal patron for Marriott International brand. I understand that Sonesta may be the "low budget" property for Marriott?, and like I like I said, I booked theis property knowing that. I want to experience the this brand before I reccommend to my clients. I stayed at this property when was Marriott Courtyard, and I enjoyed very much.

Hotel Employees are super nice, friendly and helpful.

Lobby

Too many furniture in the room. It could have been a chair instead of the sofa in the room. Bathroom did not have cold water, hot water only, which we told the reception about.

Sheets, bathrooms, carpet were all below standard in cleanliness. Worst of all, AFTER we had checked in, we found a flyer in the room saying that we had to vacate our room the next day for 2 hours because they had to clean the carpet, and another 2 hours for it to dry completely unless we don’t mind walking in a damp carpet. That’s 4 hours that we already paid for taken away from us. And yet when we were trying to check in an hour early, they were charging us $30 extra. They are rated 4 star- totally WRONG. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.
