I love the proximity of Sonesta Select - Greenbelt to the Greenbelt Metro. I appreciate the cleanliness of the room that I stay in and, in general, the cleanliness of the hotel. I appreciate access to a hot tub, pool and exercise facilities and ice machine. Parking is convenient and safe. The grounds are well landscaped and peaceful.

I appreciate being able to stay in the hot tub for a few extra minutes. I dislike staying in a room with a connecting door to the next room, because if the people in the next room are noisy, that noise can keep me up at night.

Whenever I call the Sonesta Select hotel in Greenbelt, MD, I feel well taken care of. The staff even recognize my voice. They are aware of what is important for me (microwave, 1st floor room facing the courtyard, ice machine, hot tub and safe parking). They make sure I have what I need when I am there.

People set their trash outside the doors to their rooms for it to be picked up. I only find this a bit annoying when the hotel is full and there is trash sitting outside a lot of rooms.

I enjoy interacting with the staff at Sonesta Select. They are always courteous, respectful and kind. By now, I have stayed at Sonesta Select so many times, it is like a second home for me.

There was a time when the people in the connecting room (my room was connected to the next room by a locked door) were very, very loud and had lots of people coming in and out at night. Sonesta Select has a 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Quiet policy. I complained to the front desk. At first, the people in this room did not quiet down once he talked to them, but I complained again (because I had to leave for work early in the morning) and he talked to them again. This time they quieted down. Now, I just try to avoid connecting rooms.

I like the first floor rooms that face the courtyard. The light from the courtyard is soothing and peaceful at night. In addition, I enjoy relaxing on the small patio outside my room before I retire for the night.

Sometimes the people who use the pool area can be inconsiderate, i.e. they play very loud music and make a lot of noise while they are there. Sometimes people let their kids run around without supervision. Sometimes kids have jumped into the hot tub, which is not safe thing to do. Parents need to watch and supervise their kids. It is stressful for me when this happens.

I appreciate the maintenance staff at the Sonesta Select hotel in Greenbelt, MD. They are quick to respond. If I request access to a microwave, they bring me one.

Once the toilet in my room stopped working. That was inconvenient. However, the maintenance staff shows up quickly. When they couldn't fix it immediately, they arranged for us to be moved to another room.

Breakfast was below average. Scrambled eggs should not be green. Plastic spoons should not melt in hot cereal. No yogurt. Had to wait good 15 minutes for the coffee. Mini fridge had ice and mildew on the bottom shelf. Alarm clock showed wrong time and no buttons to adjust. The rooms are not cleaned daily if your stay is less than 5(?) days

I didn’t like that I paid extra to have free breakfast and when I would wake up between the hours of breakfast there would be little to no breakfast. I would wake up early and still there would be either no bacon, eggs, coffee. I would ask the server when the next batch is coming out and she just told me that there is nothing and I had to wake up earlier. I don’t understand why they put a time for breakfast between 7-9 yet they have little to no breakfast during those hours.

I liked the whirlpool, the bedroom and the outdoor firepit. We enjoyed the majority of the time we spent at the hotel. We stayed there and a few of our relative booked there as well becuase we chose the location.

1) On Saturday, most of the breakfast was gone within the first 45 minutes. There was a definite lack of planning becuase there was not enough food for all the guests. 2) We are concerned about our safety. Someone's vehicle was vandalized during our stay. They removed all his wheels of his car and it was up on blocks. 3) On several occassion while walking down the halls, we could smell the cannabis from other rooms

Elevator near my room did not work during the night. Pet fee is outrageous. The desk did not let Dominos deliver to my room. When I got downstairs the order wasn’t complete and the driver was gone. I called and was refused the rest of my order. Refused a refund. The day shift desk clerk needs a new job. She is unhappy and crabby.
