Overall a great stay the breakfast was amazing and the service was friendly and the room was clean

The grounds are very well kept and very lovely. The breakfasts were very good. It's 15 minutes from the beach and close to the Riverwalk.

Our room was not cleaned and serviced the only full day that we were there. When we reported it, a person with authority seemed nonchalant about it

Everything was done with a spirit of excellence. From the smell when I first walked in. To the smile I was greeted at the door, ( the young lady at the desk was exceptional great. ) I was 15 minutes early and she allowed checking. The room was phenomenal. It had everything we needed without us having to purchase extra. Even down to the paper towels. Wow. That was my first time in Wilmington and it will not be my last but whenever I come back I will be staying at the residence inn by Marriott in Wilmington excellent excellent excellent from the time we were checking into town we checked out the breakfast was superb if I can give it more than 10 Stars I will rate this hotel 100 excellent if there's a word more than excellent that is what you all are so you all will become my stay place when we come back which won't be very long thank you very much!

breakfast was not as expected. I just stayed in Clearwater residence inn and they had a meal for breakfast. the carpet in the corners had lent/ dirt on them. a note was up at the the thermostat to not change it past 70.

The staff was great and location was pretty convenient. The best part was how pet friendly it was.

The kitchen/living room areas were smaller than anticipated, which wasn't a big deal; it was just a surprise. But the part that I really did not like was lack of maintenance: The dishwasher barely worked (took literally 10 times to get it to run), the shower head in the accessible bathroom had no place to hang up, the sink faucet was either off or on at full blast - no in between. The stovetop burners were almost impossible to get to a correct temperature and avoid burning food. The shower soap had fallen off the wall in the other bathroom and wouldn't stay up.
