Great location and the beds were comfortable

The shower was scalding hot the whole time we were there. The water would not get cool at all and would go from off to scalding hot and with three small children that is completely unacceptable. It took maintenance six hours to come try to fix it. The first night we were told that we would be moved to a different hotel, If they could not get it resolved sense they were booked up. Later that day, we were told that they could not move us, because they were in the middle of merging with a different hotel chain, and no longer could move us. Long story short. The water was not fix the whole time we were there, except for a few minutes after the maintenance guy would come every day on our last day the toilet would overflow for absolutely no reason and we had to send our kids downstairs to use the restroom in the middle of the night!! I would told I would be refunded for one of the nights but has yet to see that I’ve contacted the corporate number and I will be getting an email that will tell me if I could be compensated or not with in 4-7 days ughhh I think the whole experience was terrible although the front desk staffed did all, they really could to help without being able to do much

Great location!! 2 blocks from a beautiful beach boardwalk. There is a skatepark and basketball courts right next to the hotel. Several restaurants within walking distance. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

Comfort Inn is currently under transition to Sand and Surf, and from our observations, has been doing lots of painting and upgrading to their establishment. It’s wonderful to have a clean fresh room to stay in. We absolutely LOVE to visit the Fort Clinch beaches just north of this hotel, and that entrance is just a couple hundred feet from hotel +++! We also, absolutely love “Salt Life Food Shack” food and dining, and this is just a very short walk from hotel. This is a plus for us as well. We’ve stayed at at least 3 different hotels at Amelia Island before Comfort Inn, but based on location, cleanliness, friendliness…. We would be apt to stay at this hotel again. Friends visited with us at the same time and liked their stay (their room as well) and didn’t express any dissatisfaction with them.

During this “upgrade period”, our bathroom door needs to have a doorknob that actually “fits” the opening. Other than that…. It was totally satisfactory to us.

The carpeting was old and not very clean. Our toilet seat was not secured and moved every time we used it.

Friendly staff, Very comfortable mattress and crisp flush bedding, soft pillows, 2 minute walk to the beach. Air was not working properly and check in. Front desk got maintenance to check it.They replaced the unit while my family and I went to dinner. Returned to a nice Artic chilled room. Loooooved it !!!!!

Only complaint was that the breakfast. On Saturday and Sunday was these horrible processed chicken patties as the ONLY meat selection.The Waffle maker has been replaced with a pancake maker. The sausage was not put out until checkout day on Monday.

It’s RIGHT at the beach. Only a 5 minute max walk from the room to the water. Breakfast is always hot with a clean area to eat. The staff is so friendly!

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good (limited selections, but something for everyone). Room, hotel, and grounds were clean. Service was great (when needed). Price was extremely reasonable for area and location. Location! Location! Location! Just steps to the beach!

There were a few ants in our room, shower head very weak, room could use a coat of paint, no lightbulbs in lamps at nightstand, freezer frozen over.

The breakfast wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good. Wish the options were healthier. Fruit wasn’t ripe and eggs didnt taste good. But there were other things to choose from and the area was kept clean and stocked.

Breakfast was not good. Everything was great except the pool. It was incredibly small. One 1-2 families in it and it was crowded. You had to access it from outside and around the building and the public had free range, even if they weren’t “allowed”.

The location is perfect for the activities we wanted to enjoy. Everyone was friendly and most helpful. We would definitely come stay with you again!

We like that hotel had great restaurants nearby. Near to shrimp fest and beach. Breakfast was great.

My cell phone kept canceling my door key! I had to replace them daily for ones that worked. Cell phone was in Fanny pack. Canceled key code even if kept in pocket on opposite side as Fanny pack. Very frustrating. Only problem we had.

Great place to stay for so many reasons. Staff was top-notch and so friendly. Hot breakfast was excellent and you can't beat the location. Very nice sweet with all you need.

Room was dusty, sheets were stained the carpet had strange smell ( mildew) probably, the bathroom needs updating was not what I expected for the money I paid, the ladies serving breakfast stood around watching people eat they laughed and talked about everyone in the breakfast room very unprofessional and uncomfortable. I will definitely not stay here again

Easy handicap parking, Comfortable beds, spacious room.

Bathtub had dirt in the bottom and had rust in some spots.
