Room worked for a shared environment with separate sleep and bathroom arrangement. It was spacious, clean and quiet.

There seemed to be a general lack of respect for guests who pay a lot of money to stay there. I stay in $65-70 hotels for business. The breakfast was worse than those. Crowds were not actively attended to and tables were dirty. They run out of scrambled eggs, tea water, coffeee and do not refill it and breakfast does not end for another 20 min. Milk spills on the floor and stays there. Complete lack of care and chaos. I was demoralized on the first day. Also checked on a weekday and still no good. Horrible place and that is not a way to treat people. The pool gave me the same feeling. The receptionists were also doing automated talks, they were not genuine, the offers they provide are not really good, just a bad attitude. They say they have discounted ferry tickets and that is not a real discount. Also we were told we can’t catch the next ferry, we can’t get on it etc. Which is demoralizing again. Just ignored that attitude and went to the ferry bought tickets and got on it. The rooms did not have tea as advertised and the room was not cleaned daily as advertised. Really - this not what they advertise. They should be ashamed of their management and really reward the people who do a good job cleaning the rooms.

The staff was unpleasant right from the beginning, had an attitude and rude remarks for every problem I asked for help with . Paid extra for a beach front room that I did not get . My room smelled of mildew and mold . The pool was gross so bad I would not even think about entering it . The jacuzzi in the room was falling apart and the shower was dangerous to say the least 0 out of 10 would not recommend to anyone, room was extremely outdated . the best part of my stay was getting to leave . The staff was less then accommodating almost annoyed to be bothered by you. My advice stay somewhere else and if nowhere is available sleep in your car

Everything about this place sucks. Do not stay here !!!!!!!!!! Seriously go anywhere else ..

The lobby was nice.

The staff was horrid. The room was musty and dirty. Pot smell in the hallways. Horrible place. I stayed an hour and checked out. Couldn’t get away fast enough.

Bed was very comfortable. Our room was on the first floor right on the beach. The staff at the front desk at check in were very nice.

Breakfast was free, but the room was so full there wasn't any place to sit and eat. The cleaning staff were not friendly. It would have been nice to walk out of our room straight onto the beach, but the porch was surrounded by a fence. When I reserved the room, it was booked twice. We were relaxing in the spa tub, and someone started knocking on the door even though the "do not disturb" sign was on the door. Then the front desk tried calling our room twice, then called my personal phone. When the staff finally got me on the phone, they asked me if I had checked in. Which I obviously had. The toilet seat was cracked all the way through, and the room did not have a microwave.

The staff and location to the dock was fantastic. A 5 minute walk to grab a boat to the island. The beach behind the hotel was very nice

The hotel desperately needs a renovation. The rooms were very dark and old carpet throughout. The beach was beautiful but not maintained, and very limited chairs to use. Overpriced for what you got. Coffee machine never seemed to be working in the lobby. We were not informed about breakfast in the morning until day 2....it was very disappointing.

It was close to the ferry for Mackinac Island.

fans in room could be on because it was muggy and strong perfume smell.
