We loved the location. It was nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, as is expected at Hampton Inn. We loved the room set up. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.

The bed was very firm which made it hard to sleep or get really comfortable. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch or pulling the sofa bed out to sleep at night. Even with the air conditioner on, my husband and I were still hot and would get sweaty. The wifi was fine for the standard person, just need a little patience for any streaming. If you're looking to do big downloads or expect really fast speeds, I recommend you do those before you get here.

We stayed because our vehicle had broken down on the 89. We had our dog with us. The staff made it clear that pets were only allowed because Paris Hilton has pets. They were not pleasant about our dog being there. One staff member even went to get another to complain about where my husband was sitting with our pet while I was getting our breakfast. In the written rules it was unclear. He was far from the food area. When he spoke to my husband to move he was rude and condescending and this in front of others guests. We travel in hotels often with our dog. This was not a great experience. A positive note is that when our vehicle was ready faster than expected they didn’t charge us more because we had passed check out time by about one hour.

I was guaranteed a 2 bed queen room that was non refundable. When I arrived at 9:15, our room had been given away. This was most disappointing and the room felt unclean. Sheets on the couch were questionable.

The room was impeccable and provided all sorts of space for three adults to share comfortably. The breakfast was also tasty, with a great choice of courses and well cooked.

The dining area might have been a little cleaner, but we realized we were in a time when it was challenging to find enough staff for upkeep.

Clean, sweet staff. The breakfast was pretty damn good compared to the average continental. The location wasn’t bad - about 5-10 minutes from a downtown area, and Quechee and Woodstock are fairly accessible as well.

Only downside is the pool is small and not heated. would’ve been nice to warm up after being in the cold all day, but that’s my only issue.

Morning of 11/6 desk clerk was wonderful and friendly and knowledgeable.

Room itself was eh, but the stains on the couch made me want to gag. If it's this filthy and you can't clean it, it should have been removed. See below photo. Heat/cool register was so loud I barely slept Pool was frigid. If there is going to be an indoor pool perhaps warmer would be a good place to start. I specified to have rooms close. Didn't mean next to each other but close. I was on 1st floor, coworker on 3rd when I booked a month prior but when I got there the clerks response was, oh well. We're fully booked and they got here first 😡 I've always stayed at Hampton Inns when we travel. I will now rethink that after what I experienced. Not at all impressed. Hotel needs some TLC for sure.
