Ein schönes nostalgisches Gebäude mit ausreichend Parkplätzen und gutem Frühstück. Der elektrische Kamin gefiel uns, da es doch nachts kühl war.

Leider haben wir wohl das schlechteste und dunkelste Zimmer (104) bekommen. Wir hatten aufgrund der aktiven Kommunikation des Hotels via mail im Vorfeld höhere Erwartungen gehabt. Mag sein, dass das richtige Zimmer ein anderes Urteil ergeben hätte. Das Zimmer entsprach zwar dem Foto der Buchung, aber es leider zu dunkel und ohne Ausblick, da Vorbeigehende hineinschauen können, wenn man die Vorhänge nicht verschließt.

Heated bathroom floor! Fresh cookies, soda and bottled water daily in the lobby, along with hot breakfast and wine & cheese in afternoons. Very Clean! Excellent location!

Pre-dawn wake ups from garbage collection on Tuesday morning, and crying dog guests. Construction ongoing without warning upfront. Very low water pressure. Shower was more of a trickle.

Beautiful atmosphere, kind and attentive service, very comfortable and clean room, tasteful decoration and furniture.

Not much to say. It got a bit noisy at night with guests in the room above mine. I could hear every step.

The breakfast was fabulous lots of choices, staff very accommodating.

You get a little noise from the rooms above through the floors, but everything else was wonderful

Location. Comfort. Hospitality. This place had it all. Also delicious breakfast and the wine hour were amazing.

Nothing comes to mind

The location is terrific for walking to shops and restaurants in Carmel. The breakfasts and happy hour were very well done. The management and staff were friendly, knowledgeable, informative and efficient. A plumbing issue arose that necessitated our move to another room and the switch was done with minimal inconvenience. We will stay at Coachman's on our next visit to Carmel. Warren Peabody

ALL WAS GOOD

The room was spacious, well appointed and exceptionally clean, recently repainted I think. The bed was also immensely comfy. The happy hour every day was a nice touch, a good place to chat with other guests, get local tips & nice food. Breakfast was fresh, varied and delicious.

Daily housekeeping at that price point is expected but we were informed after booking that it's not offered. I doubt anyone will use the hot tub as it needs cleaning and the dirt you can see in it put us off even trying it or the sauna. They are doing renovations/construction right now in some rooms which can be noisy, they do start early, it was close to us and I feel they should state that at booking or at latest at check-in. Also be aware parking is tight, low ceiling & limited so you may be required to park on the street.
