Bryan was Excellent! Our booking.com was reserved but the hotel didn’t get there funds on our arrival but Bryan was so willing to get us settling in and deal with it.
Facility was well kept, beds were comfy, shower was warm..
The connection between bookings.com and the facility. Had to call three times to bookings.com and the call dropped twice while on hold..Not sure where the breakdown was on online transaction but felt it was being put on us.. customer service and said it would be 5-7 days for refund if we choose to cancel and go direct to the hotel. We had traveled 15 hours and just wanted to get settled in to the reservation we had already been charged for

The property was recently changed to Red Roof. It was recently remodeled, the lobby was clean and uncluttered. Staff was fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID. A second staff member was in the lobby, and greeted me warmly as I entered. There had been a recent snow storm, and parking lots had been plowed as clear as possible. They support the Red Roof pet policy, which is the biggest reason for choosing this location. Another large Winter storm was approaching, and I needed a property that would be comfortable, had there been a need to stay another day.
Realizing that there had been excess snow, and an ice storm coming, it was understandable that all areas were not shoveled clean, but there was not a convenient way to get from my car to the room directly.

No breakfast..the previous owner left the place in a shambles that left the staff having to deal with customers not informed the hotel had changed owners. No advice,no direction,no refunds.we arrived to the lobby drapped in tarps. Thank God for the staff who accomodated us as best they could.
I had to go accrpss the parking lot to a Subway to find out if that was our hotel! We stayed at a beautiful Wyndam in Gettysberg...then arrived to this wreck of a hotel with no directions,no warning,no refund,we had nowhere to go. We were there to honor our colleagues lost on 9-11. Half the hotel was under construction. Staff was left scrambling to help us..came up with one double room.,out of the 80's decor & furniture. Very old.Our cleaning lady was wonderful having to deal with all this. The parking lot is horrible,no landscaping right next to a toll booth. Pot holes and broken concrete. Julie Giakoumis

The room was as advertised- clean, non-smoking, and had a refrigerator. Room design seemed relatively up to date. It was a convenient location for us to stop along a road trip, and seemed safe. Good value.
Nothing. The one drawback about the area is that we arrived around 6:00 pm on a Sunday and many restaurants in Somerset were closed/about to close, so plan for that.

The front desk clerk gave me issues about having vertical ID, even though I am 23 and it clearly says 1997 on my license. She kept asking about it, and I had to explain that I got it before I turned 21 so it will be verticle. I also offered other forms of photo ID and she didn't want it. Also, she made a big issue of me wearing my mask in the lobby saying that I really didn't need it and it's not necessary. I used to be local to the area and she made a comment about how they are not renting to locals, she did not provide explanation for this either. I had just moved out of the area so my address on my ID is still from my local address. After what felt like 20 minutes of completely unnecessary questions about why am I staying if I used to be local and other problems, she finally did give me the room key. Also, at 8 am with the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on my door, housekeeping kept pounding on my door until I answered and told them I was not ready and check out was 11am. I did cancel my second night I had booked there. Never have had a bad experience even at lower budget hotels. This was just unnecessary and frankly rude.
