Location was perfect for getting around and near a lot of places we needed to be.

Not that much when you consider the age of the motel but improvements were being added while we were there. Parking was tough but if we come back next year we'll probably Uber from the airport.

The Staff was excellent. They took care of us very well and were attentive. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view. We will definitely return in the future. We have traveled many places but this has been the best service we have ever received.

The room with 5 people next to me woke me up at 1 am having intense discussions and even though i asked them to quiet down, i was up until 3:30 am. I could get the hot water to work in the shower and the tv didn't seem to work. Very disappointed with the entire situation.

Wonderful location that is walking distance to downtown and the boardwalk and many good restaurants. The view is stunning. While paying to park is annoying, it is close to downtown and necessary.

The bathroom was is poor shape with the flooring pulling away from the tub and looking very worn. What was unacceptable was the fire alarm going off at 6am one morning and then at 3:30am and 3:35 the next morning. This must be due to the construction that’s taking place. Staff apologized when I brought up the issue and provided some compensation. Also the WIFI cut out for the entire morning once.

The location was very good. After complaining to the front desk, on checkout our room rate was reduced by a $100. I appreciated the recognition that we had significant problems, not the least of which was construction that began before 8AM in the room adjacent to ours. We were not notified prior to arrival that the place was under construction.

We arrived shortly after noon. Room availability was scheduled for 4 PM. We were informed in less than a friendly manner that if wanted early check-in, when a room became available, there would be a $45 additional charge. In my extensive travel experience this is a unique and poor customer satisfaction policy. See above comment regarding construction. $38 parking in this location is excessive. The double pane sliding glass doors had what looked like Vaseline smeared inside which could not be cleaned, and which significantly detracted from the otherwise great view for which we paid extra. The seating in the enclosed balcony was less than comfortable.

New Ownership has completely ruined the character and charm of this Beautiful landmark structure by painting over the Beach scene murals that uniquely adorned the exterior, with monotone white paint This was a favorite destination of ours but sadly we will not return again
