Everything was neat and clean and felt somewhat recently remodeled. We had very limited interaction with staff, but the couple we did were very pleasant. Access and location were perfect for us.

Our first morning there we had someone knock on our door at 7am to clean the room. We told them no thank you and just put the do not disturb sign on the door to avoid it happening again. Not sure we've ever had housecleaning show up that early. The exterior door on our end of the hotel did not lock. Were we anywhere else this may have been more of a concern.

Walking distance to downtown. Short drive to the hockey rink.

No elevator. Seemed like renovation was incomplete.

The pool and jacuzzi

Room smelled like stale smoke; hair on bathroom floor. Carpet needed to be deeply cleaned. Wore socks when in the room.

Location

Price gouging. Worn down motel needing a renovation 15 years ago.

Limited options with very little breakfast area seating

Property has not had a good cleaning in a long time and was very disappointing when considering the room rate. Also property charged less than if booked through property direct and Booking.com would not make an adjustment

Swimming pool was very disappointing.

Breakfast was much better than we expected.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable.

Room was small, pool facilities showing age.
