Very cosy cottage, beautiful surroundings, very friendly innkeepers.
More kitchen ware, would be helpfull if you like to cook at the cottage.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They even offered us extra linens and towels for our other family members. The ambiance of the place and the cottage was really cozy, comfortable and sparkling clean. The place was also complete with all the things like cooking utensils that we needed. The location was good, 30 + mins from Mariposa Grove. There's also a nearby gasoline station with a mini grocery. We would definitely like to come back next time.

Lovely little cottage which felt fitted very well into the surroundings, lovely and quiet, the managers were lovely and friendly. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom.
Could do with a curtain or blind on the window above the door as it brought bright light in very early. No bin that we could find.

The staff was incredible, they worked hard and fast so we could check in a little earlier than initially planned.

The gas fireplace in the cabin/room had a gas/propane smell when turned on even with the fan on (as instructed). Had to turn it off after a few minutes. However, there is an AC/heater unit that is adequate enough to make the room comfortable.

Great location, great property for a getaway. Cute place to stay. Clean. Good wifi. Netflix and Amazon video options on tv. Fireplace. Nice bathtub. Heat works well. Gary, the property manager is a fine gentleman, excellent and thoughtful host.

The location was great and about a 15 minute drive to Yosemite. It was also very close to a shopping center.

We had a fantastic stay in the Stargazer Loft at Homestead Cottages. The room was cosy and peaceful, perfect after a day hiking in Yosemite. The staff were easily contactable and very helpful, making us feel really welcomed. Would gladly stay there again.

The cottage was very cozy, bed was extremely comfortable. Even though nights were on a colder side it was warm inside without having to turn the fireplace on. I wish we spent more time to fully enjoy the space.
It wasnt completely clean, there were some crumbs on the floor in the kitchen area with quite a few ants around. Understand that we are in the forest but this could’ve been avoided.

Nice cottage, nice people. House was clean and tidy.
Wi-Fi is almost useless, as every 3 minutes it breaks for 1 minute. Good for sending photos via WhatsUp, not suitable for internet browsing (e-mail, Google maps, ...). Price for accomodation is rather high to what it is.

Oakhurst is about a 10min drive, and we could find large supermarkets and some restaurants there. We loved Plazuelas Mexican, and also Dulce Sabor for Mexican desserts.
Yosemite's south entrance is also reasonably close, and we enjoyed some horseback riding at Yosemite Trails as well.
The innkeepers were very helpful and friendly.

The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable for the children. It also dipped quite a bit in the middle, so they ended up being squished and kicking each other every night. (Our bed in the bedroom was fine.)

Very friendly hosts, great location for Yosemite and close to Oakhurst. The lodge was very comfortable, equipped with everything we might have needed. A wonderful unique space.

We had an amazing stay at the Homestead Cottages. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, we had some nice conversations. The cottage we stayed in was super comfortable and cute. The location of the cottages is perfect, in the middle of nature and yet close to Oakhurst where you find anything you need and of course to Yosemite Nationalpark. We would love to come back one day.

Loved the location-off of Hwy 49, nestled in the beautiful green mountains. It was quiet and serene! Cabin was neat and clean. We did not utilize the kitchenette or refrigerator. The Wi-Fi and TV streaming worked well. Would recommend to friends!
We had booked a king bed studio cabin and when we arrived they said that Cabin was under renovation so they assigned us to a queen 1 bedroom. I definitely would have preferred the king bed. Aside from the size the queen bed was also hard. Breakfast was not provided.
