That we couldn't stay longer

It's a bit hard to advise others, as I went over a holiday and the place was nearly empty. It's also a somewhay unusual place, even a bit funky -- two tiers of rooms around an open concrete courtyard. The manager is an amiable fellow, and I definitely felt welcome. He was kind enough to loan me a Keurig machine (otherwise no coffee in the rooms) and gave me a quieter room when I asked. (See below). The bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette (including the full fridge) and bathroom were spotless. Decent internet and free wifi. Heating control worked fine. TV worked fine -- lots of stations. I could see that some features had been recently upgraded -- seemed like new floors.

The building and furnishings had clearly seen better days -- a collection of odds and ends -- just two sets of dishes and tableware in the kitchen, a slightly broken-down couch. Haphazard features -- my first room (changed because of noise the first night) had no hairdryeer or coffee maker, the second one had both. The location is safe but not convenient to good restaurants, and I'm not a fan of fast food. I had to move after the first night, when my upstairs neighbor clomped and stomped around for a full hour between 2 and 3 am -- manager told me that the guy gets up then for work -- recommend that you stay out of room 118! No problem finding another quierter room, but it would have been a real problem if nothing else had been available.

Very Nice rooms. Loved the kitchen area and separate rooms. Very spacious.

My Coffee pot didn’t work, but I had my own. But for the next guest it may be a problem. Would love to see maybe a continental breakfast offered for people on the go would be nice. Overall I loved my stay.

The manager on site was very kind. He was very helpful in making our stay more comfortable. It was convenient having a small kitchen in the suite. It was nice, quiet and an ideal location! My husband wanted to rest a bit and I was able to go to a mall close by on my own. There were an abundance of stores and restaurants in the area, also. Really enjoyed our stay at the Affordable Suites!

The staff, especially the manager, provided me an exceptional experience!!! I will be staying here EVERYTIME I come to town, as long as they will have me...this was truly a home away from home. I really did not want to leave.

Friendly staff

The resident manager, Reginald, is unbelievably friendly and welcoming. He runs the property like a five-star hotel, even providing soap and shampoo like a big-chain hotel for the short-time stay, one night in my case. Smoking is allowed in the beautiful, tree-shaded courtyard and ashtrays (bowls) are on the tables. Wish I could have stayed longer.

If I had to find something to complain about, it's that the windows can slide open. All 3 of my windows were unlocked upon arrival, and had I not checked, could have been used by thieves while I was away from the motel. The bed mattress was a little hard, but that's an individual preference. Other than that, the manager was great, very friendly and helpful. I liked the common area in the middle court where guests could meet and hang out. A bar would have been perfect as you'd be steps from your door. There is dining and shopping nearby. Although the motel is twenty minutes from where my family lives, I would stay here again

I LOVED EVERYTHING

I loved the setup. (The outside patio) the room was spacious, CLEAN, neat and quiet. There was nothing extra we needed.

The small parking.. but when the workers leave there is alot 🙂.

Convenient location. Not far from the airport Close to a McDonald’s and a Walgreens. Plus, the manager, Ronald was a great host. He helped with everything and was able to get me a reservation on short notice. I will be back.

I LOVED everything about this home away from home !! This is one of the best places I’ve ever laid my head in I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone!
