The staff was great, the room was very spacious and clean.

My only complaint was my window was above the gas station, and was somewhat noisy all night.

I appreciated the breakfast boxes. Not a traditional breakfast but was nice to have a good selection of food.

The pool could have been heated.

The room.was very clean, updated and the bed was comfy.

The exterior needed some repair work, especially on the stairs.

Room was very small and rather dreary, but it was clean.

Very cozy room, nice comfy bed, it wasn't super fancy but I was very comfortable! I visited in February so I wasn't really able to take advantage of the pool, but it was a nice area.

The heat in my room was not working so they brought me a portable heater, which also didn't work. Which, fine, but when I called the front desk the guy said he was the only one on duty so I had to leave my room in the middle of the night, go across the courtyard and bring the heater to the front desk. Which, again, fine, but then the door was LOCKED and there's nobody behind the front desk, and I'm holding this broken heater in both hands so I kicked the door to get the guy's attention and he came out from whatever backroom and proceeded to scream at me that he was going to call the cops because I kicked the door. Dude, I just wanted heat in my room, and you tell me I have to physically bring down the broken heater to swap it out and then the door is locked and you're not behind the desk/in sight? And now you're treating me like a criminal because I banged on the door to get your attention? No sir, that was a rude way to treat me. I had to apologize and literally BEG him to give me a working heater. Again this was in the middle of the night and I'm a single woman traveling alone in an unfamiliar city and because of the layout of Tarzana Inn I had to go outside for this.
