getting the hell out of this dump

This place is a dump , took my 5 hours to drive there and the entire place was nasty ,had bugs ,the doors would not lock .I had to leave my stuff for a couple of hours to find some place else to stay and it cost me $1500.00 extra plus wasted most of my day. The best western looked nothing like the photos ,I was completely mis led ny both booking.com and the best western ,this place looked more like a trafficking location or a crack house. I am expecting a full refund or I will be going to social media and contacting every outlet possible to try to prevent anyone else getting ripped off . Tear this place down and build a parking lot or something , The city needs to be notified to make some inspections .

The breakfast was terrible and not at all as pictured. Hotel was very old and not as presented in pictures when booking. Parking was non-existent and had to park down a dark alley way. When we did get to park at resort we got a parking ticket where we were told we could park This hotel should not even be an option om Booking.com!

The location is perfect. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the private balcony overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was included and the coffee was very good. The cost of the stay was perfect.

The bathroom was very small. The water in the shower was either very hot or cold and the shower head was low so I had to bend to get my hair wet. Parking was mostly across the street as there were only a few spaces on the hotel side. There is no longer a hot tub at the pool.

The location was great it was on a quiet street not much noise. The breakfast included was great also.

The hotel was older and showed its age. Limited parking. The had smoking rooms which we get to smell on our balcony. No hot tubs.

The Tiki Bar was nice to have at the pool and the bartender was great!

Outdated a little

The bed was comfortable. I had a nice balcony overlooking the ocean. The shower was great. Parking was close by and included. The room was a good size.

The facility was old. There was only one elevator in the building. The bathroom was very small. The gym was old and had very little equipment.

I enjoyed everything about this property from my check-in to my checked out. Excellent staff with the happiest dispositions and gave the best directions to get good food. When the alarm went off due to the sprinkler system, we evacuated with ease and received an explanation of what was happening. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST, I WILL SAY IT AS A LADY I MET WHEN LEAVING. "EVERYTIME I COME I DON'TWANT TO LEAVE AND I AM COMING BACK." I AGREED WITH HER I WASN'T READY TO GO HOME AND I AM COMING BACK. THE OCEANVIEW IN ROOM 314 WAS THE BEST. THANKS TO YOUR WHOLE STAFF, PLEASE LET THEM KNOW FROM ME, THEY ARE TRULY AWESOME, THEY ARE THE BEST EXAMPLE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. SERVICE WITH A SMILE GOES A LONG WAY AND THEY ARE TO BE COMMENDED.

MY STAY WASN'T LONG ENOUGH. THE PARKING WAS A LITTLE TO BE DESIRED, ABLE TO PARK ACROSS THE STREET BUT OVERALL IT WAS GOOD TOO.

This place needs a little updating for sure, but the room was SO CLEAN and tidy, the view was just what my soul needed and the beach was beautiful. Loved the little tiki bar, the pool and surroundings looked clean, the front desk ladies were super nice and friendly. The price was right, but the small balcony that faced the ocean: Priceless!

Anytime you have a family vacation spot by the ocean, it may get a little soggy. The halls could use some updating, but for our unfussy needs, we were delighted to have an ocean view!

Front desk rep Tammy was exceptional! As was Jamie (or Janie?) Such a great help with any issues we had, and genuine care/concern. Their customer service is top notch! Our room was clean and beds comfy. Breakfast was great, alot of options and staff ready to help. Pools were open. Would def stay here again, as it was me and my 2 school age sons here for the first time.

Only slight bummer was washing machine was out in next door tower building (where our room was), so had to go to main building for washer that worked.

The ocean view of the balcony room, the breakfast, the tiki bar, and the rinse off station for your feet outside near the pool.

When we arrived, the room carpet was wet and there was some sand still in the corner of the room.

What I loved about this Hotel, first of all, checking in was super easy, I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes, I was so happy about that since I was exhausted, all I wanted to do is rest. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, I'll really have to say that the service is one of the best that I've received. I had a beautiful view of the ocean; location is amazing one of the best and safest locations to stay in Myrtle Beach. Also, one thing I loved a lot, I love to cook, and I wasn't really aware that they had a small kitchen in the room, which to me it's pretty covenant since I don't really like to eat out a lot, the hotel provides cookware and silverware which if you're looking for a place that has that, I'll recommend this place.

Honestly this is one of the best places that I've stayed at, one small thing I would say is the room was a bit dirty, nothing major. Just know that the parking is across the street, for me is no big deal but I know for some people would be a problem. Other than that, amazing place to stay in.

The patio door windows were filthy, one of the beds you could feel the springs through the mattress, the bathroom fan sounded like it was gonna blow up and is all rusted out, there was sand all over the floors,

I thought I booked a ocean front room, upon arrival I was placed in the annex building which was not ocean front, I had to strain to even view the ocean. I had to walk 100 yards for the coffee and so called breakfast. I will not stay there again and will not recommend this property to anyone.

No Parking 1st off, The. lobby was not inviting in any way. The room was tiny and very dirty and out dated. The room was supposed to be ocean front instead was a view of a run down pool and trash around the pool.
