A great hotel past its prime and much of it closed for repair. There was a water leak from the shower to the carpet.

We have a long relationship with the Pierpont Inn. My parents were neighbors of the Inn over 60 years ago & we had our wedding reception there July 4,1963.

We could not change channels on the TV in our cottage, even after having an employee work on it & we could not turn off the ceiling fan. The Inn has been in "restoration mode" for years & nothing seems to get done.

The Pierpont Inn is an adorable hotel that has been in existence since 1910! Some of the rooms have ocean views, mine didn't but it did have a fireplace and a sliding door directly to the pool. Includes a decent hot breakfast in a charming indoor/outdoor spot

Some buildings have no elevator, be sure to ask if your room requires using the stairs.

The place was a disappointment, from check in a dark dank room, to the check in area location. No elevator, coldness of the building, no bell man. The room was old, the furnishings were old, the shower floor was dingy, the towels were old, the windows were dirty, It was like we checked into the Haunting. The breakfast you had to find the location, no signage, the food was presented with no interest. The room was old and stale. The entire concept of the place was TERRIBLE. We should have been refunded. We should have been paid to stay there, we were told by a staff member that the owners have little interest and it may become a Marriott.

The outside of the bldg is deceptive, the rooms have been very nicely updated. Walkable distance to the ocean pathway.

TV services were nil. Big screen but not able to get it to work. Having streaming apps that one could access would have been a nice plus.

To be honest, this hotel surprised us! We were expecting a good hotel for the price but the stay was AMAZING. Even though part of the facilities are under renovation, the room was spacey and REALLY comfortable. The beds were... amazingly good because they were very soft and at the same time so supportive. The room was very spacious and the wifi was super fast and reliable. The team was very helpful with the check-in process, they even treated us to a complimentary early check-in.

The only hiccup was that one of the windows of the room didn't close perfectly tight and that caused a bit of cold air to filter into the room, but the heating system was working perfectly.

Poor location, the anticipated 400 feet to the beach, was actually a walk under a very noisy 4 lane Hwy101 that ran alongside the hotel. There were no elevators, so we had to drag our luggage down a wet flight of stairs. As soon as you walked outside you could hear the loud, very busy, hwy 101.

3rd time time I've stayed here and it never disappoints.
