It was a convenient location for the venue I was going to. I was able to go to the grocery store to get food. I did appreciate the parking. I am sure it will be very nice after the renovations are done.
It is currently under renovation which wasn't a big deal for me since I was only there for one night for a concert. I just felt that it was quite expensive for the amenities, location, and current state of the facility.

The person that checked us in was not friendly. The construction was annoying. The bathroom door wouldn't close.

I was put on the 3rd floor ….breakfast was horrible sausage was like hockey pucks staff put out new stuff at the end of breakfast for the construction workers

Our room was quite large. The hotel was convenient for us location-wise since it was walking distance to where our family lives. There was a nice variety of items to choose from for breakfast - cereals, pancakes, eggs, etc. Coffee was ok. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

My son and I were visiting the Waterfront for the evening. Holiday Inn Express is located very near the other attractions. The price was competitive compared to other hotels in that same area. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. If we would visit that area again, sure we will stay in the same hotel.
I was content with the hotel. There was nothing negative to say.

I picked this hotel for three main reasons... the proximity to Kennywood Amusement park, the number of places to get dinner within 10 minutes from the hotel, and the great price. This place was perfect after a day at the park! As a bonus, the staff was SUPER friendly and the bed was nice and soft!

Hotel staff was extemelyrude and no manager on site, lied to at at check in on adjusting military rate twice and was told Booking .com would adjust after I checked in then booking.com said because I checked in I couldn't get rates adjusted. Feel completely scammed with no customer service from either booking or hotel. 3 night stay room was never cleaned or towels restocked. Breakfast was not worth stopping to have, hot water for tea was cold and not plugged in. Staff sat in dining on cell phones annoyed if you disturbed them at all. The worst overall hotel stay I have ever had.
