- This is a place that offers a unique, memorable experience - because it's not a run of the mill accommodation - the room is thoughtfully decorated and furnished. -The breakfast is absolutely amazing. It's nice that you get to choose from a new menu every day. -The inn has well-kept grounds and is near a forest with paths you can walk. It's nice to be surrounded by nature. -It's nice to have a patio all to ourselves. - The way the inn is built, each guest has their little corner, so there is some privacy. - It's nice to have the jacuzzi in the spacious bedroom - It's really a place where you can relax - it's very quiet - yet a short drive to places to visit (Mystic, Rhode Island beaches, other attractions such as casinos and shopping, etc. - We slept very well there. - The inn keepers, Erika and Peter, are very discreet yet attentive.

- The room may be a little small, especially if it rains and you can't use the patio, although it is well furnished - with comfortable seats, eat-in bed trays, and foldable side tables. - There's no hot water kettle but asking for one, it was promptly delivered to our room. - Night driving is a little difficult if you're not used to the area - it's the downside of being in a nice, tranquil spot.

The Inn is located on a beautiful piece of property nestled in a peaceful slice of paradise .It is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature; yet , close enough to enjoy a variety of the activities offered in the surrounding areas. The room I stayed in was furnished with a comfortable queen sized bed, a great sitting area with plenty of lighting for reading . The room had a nice TV. The spacious bathroom had a jacuzzi , as well as a walk in shower ,the towels provided were plush and of a high quality and everything was very clean. My favorite spot quickly became the private deck with the lounge chairs and the table for sitting and enjoying the excellent breakfasts each morning. The deck overlooked the gorgeous grounds and was great for bird watching, reading a good book ,or taking a relaxing nap during the day. On a clear night the deck was a wonderful place to do some star gazing . The Inn's owner and host was attentive to details and very kind. The purpose of my visit this time was to relax and reset. Next time I am going to kidnap my husband and return for a romantic get away! This place is a gem!

The coffee but really in light of all the positives - that just didn't seem to matter that much and I am serious about my coffee -so that is saying something. A tea kettle was provided along with instant coffee packets which was fine, especially since there are a fair share of places to grab coffee close by,

Breakfast was perfect! The room was cozy. Nice and quiet to relax. Very convenient for the casino, winery, and sites in town. Also hiking trail was on the property.

Needs a small coffee machine in the room.

This B&B was very cute, well run, accommodating and customer focused. It is also a 2 minute drive from Foxwoods, yet feels quiet and isolated.

Possibly more breakfast options/variety. That's really it.

Abbey’s is an extremely well designed and maintained property… a comfortable, wonderfully situated, and private, hideaway. Out stay was in a room that could not have been better in every way.

Breakfasts were excellent, comfortable bedding, loved the spa tub and fireplace and large private patio (though the weather was a little chilly on our trip to fully enjoy it this time), hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful, but not at all intrusive, and fully respected privacy. I’m sure the grounds look amazing once everything is in full bloom. We loved it here and would definitely return.

The Inn is in a beautiful location, just one mile from Foxwoods casino. The room was very clean and wonderfully decorated with such love. The Innkeepers were super nice and accommodating. The offered breakfast choices were amazing. The freshly baked almond and chocolate croissants were to die for. Definitely 100% recommended and we are looking forward to going back someday soon.

It is a charming inn close to the casino. Our room was very pretty and comfortable and we enjoyed having the jacuzzi tub in the room. Our breakfast was brought to our room each morning and was delicious. There are tables in the room for breakfast in bed which we enjoyed. We are looking forward to staying at Abbey’s Lantern Hill Inn again in the near future.

It was clean, peaceful and felt like home away from home. It was just what we needed. Erica was great. We already booked our next stay.

My husband first expression was what a beautiful place it was and and he couldn't get over the jetted tub in the room he wants to come come back to for our first wedding anniversary. Please Marcus on your calendar for October 16th of 2022 we will be back thank you

Very romantic room. Super clean . Bed very comfortable and fireplace was real.

Needed Wine glasses and a few utensils. We brought back wine and cake with us and didn’t have those things. Also grass lawn was in need of a cutting.
