There was a lady dressed like she was a guest with a pick shirt and shorts. The way she was acting and talking seemed like she was the manager.
The power all over Memphis was out and we booked the room online and I always stay with Laquinta because I have dogs. I literally checked in and paid the animal fee and this lady as I’m going into the room told me basically I couldn’t stay there because of my dogs.
I literally STAY AT LAQUINTA ALL THE TIME OUT OF TOWN AND WITH THESE SAME DOGS! We had no power which means NO AC! Waited in my car and the AC went out in that too from 7am to 1pm to check in and this lady ruined the whole day.
We went to west Memphis and stayed at that LAQUINTA and it was AMAZING AND EXCELLENT ! The manager was amazing in west Memphis LAQUINTA!
Thank you for NOTHING. Also took me 13days to get my REFUND!

I couldn’t stay cause of the card I was using so if you have chime don’t book this hotel they could have at least not let me book it . And authorized my card for the full amount and I couldn’t check in .

They had some kind of computer problem and refused to honor any bookings from anyone. the parking lot was empty and the guy at the counter was telling everyone they were booked solid... yet I had a reservation conformation in my hand.... he told us we would have to book elsewhere; then we discovered that all the hotels within a 50 mile radius were booked. We had already drove 14 hours to get to this location. So frusturated and very awake at that point. We drove the second half of the trip which was 10 more hour trip home with stopping at a rest stop for a short sleep. We were traveling in 2 cars. They live in a different state than me so we had to go different directions to get to our homes. I am a 57 yr old widow and was driving alone.... so not happy with this hotel. They never informed me that there was a problem until we arrived at the hotel around 10pm. Believe me I have been watching my account very closely and they never took anything out, for which I am thankful for.

The sheets had not been changed (hair and trash), couldn’t hang up clothes, the bar was broken the the hangers were on the floor. The staff was not helpful, no manager on duty. They only gave us the sheets to change ourselves. The water would not go out while taking a shower, the tub would fill up when showering.

My family and I had a double room. We would have liked for the beds to be queens instead of fulls. They were a little uncomfortable but we were able to make due and we really enjoyed ourselves.

The location.
We booked here for pool and location. . Pool was closed the whole visit. We had 4 people in the room was only given 3 towels and tried to get more for 2 days and were told they didn't have any clean. We stayed 3 nights. 3 towels for 4 peole...for 3 nights...you do the math. Door key cards kept having to be reset. Breakfast wasn't good at all. . Upon arrival, no one was at front desk for well over 20 minutes...at 9pm.
Lobby smelled clean and fresh...room didn't at all.
Beds were super uncomfortable and hard. 1 tiny trashcan for whole room and bathroom.

Breakfast was ok, the pancake machine was nice. But the eggs were like rubber.
The pool was a big reason we booked here but it was closed. Having kids that is something i always look for but there was no indication online when booking that the pool was not available. Also the workout area did not have any air, it was like working out in a sauna. At least place a fan in that room so the air circulates.

The location was central to alot of businesses. The hotel does need some repairs but overall it was a nice location.

The room didn’t smell fresh nor clean. The toilet had a bad smell. The sofa sleeper mattress was very poor and discolored. Had to reuse the same towels due to towel shortage. King bed made noise(bad mattress).

The rooms were very clean. Pool looked clear and clean. I loved the option of the general store items being available to purchase. Great location. Fridge and microwave available.
Beds were very worn and uncomfortable. The staff was not rude but also not friendly or hospitable at all, very dry. "Name? Here's your room number and key" Zero hospitality, no greeting nor gratitude that we chose to stay there entering or check out. Breakfast ends early and was not very good. Gnats coming from the milk jugs.

I didn't eat breakfast because the elevator wasn't working. My room was on the third floor.
The elevator was out and I wasn't aware until I was given my keys for the room. I would've cancelled my reservation. The television remote wasn't working I had to contact the front desk to notify them. Although they fixed it , who wants to experience that after walking three flights of stairs. The room had an unusual smell also.
