Stayed here visiting jekyll island. Great location staff were incredible very clean great price we will stay again!

Cleanliness

Upon arrival , I was asked if I had any animals? Then going to the room and opening the door, I understood. The room smelled like animals. Asked for another room.

The location was great. The lady at checking was very pleasant and helpful.

The breakfast was just muffins and bagels. They did have waffles but the line was long.

Bed was comfortable

No manager on duty on a night or morning where hotel was fully booked. Sofa bed was only twin size, not full size so I had to make a bed out of sofa cushions. Paid for a room that would accommodate 2 adults and 2 children, but recieved a room that would only accommodate 2 adults 1 child. The hotel would not prorate the charge to reflex this change because "I choose to stay there." I really didn't have any other options as it was 9pm and they were not willing to find me other accommodations. One week later still trying to work with booking.com to get some compensation back. Bathroom smelled like mold and bedding was stained.

There were old sandwiches in the fridge, gross!

Breakfast area was nice. Decent selection

Bed was too soft for my liking, but if you like a plush feeling bed, add a point to the rating. Internet wifi service was awful. At best, the download speed was 18mps, but it didn't last long. Usually, it hovered around 2.5mps or was non-existent. I usually wound up having to use my regular cell provider. For the price they charge, it should be a lot better!

TV not functional. Mold on bathroom tiles. Bathtub didn't drain. No handicap rooms.

I was expecting grits, eggs and bacon breakfast. But it was okay. I liked the quite environment, clean and plenty of space. I will stay again and let my friends know about it.

Some dirty wash cloths were found in the shower hidden in the curtain.
