There are finger nails in the pool and the toilet wouldn’t flush at all

The smell of pets. The first room we had smelled like a wet dog had just left the room. The hallways smelled like a kennel.

Booking.com overbooked and we almost did not get a room that we booked 3 days prior. We only learned of this upon our arrival in a nasty windy storm at 11:30 pm with two young children

The staff was very friendly and accommodating with my frequent stays.

Breakfast was great. Staff, when I came across them were very friendly. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The TV channels offered were a lot.

It smelled like smoke in elevator and hallways on 4th floor, hot tub wasn’t working, there was hair in the bathtub, a clump of hair under the blankets between the sheets and old water with something floating in it inside the Keurig

Good price, beds were comfortable enough.

We were given a room facing the highway and did not sleep at all because of the noise. The overall facilities are becoming very tired and worn. An update would go along way.

Close to highway, easy access. Staff friendly on all shifts. Updated lobby and rooms with nice decor. Clean. Bed was comfortable. We had a room facing away from highway, which was good as our room was quiet. Good quantity of breakfast items, both warm and cool items. If you need any supplies for your trip there is a mall behind, and restaurants. Pet friendly. Booked because of other positive reviews, and we were not disappointed. Will definitely stay here again.

Outside looked ok. Parking lot worn. Looked like a tired budget hotel. However, inside was updated, clean and a pleasant surprise.

We really liked this overnight stay on our way from PA to NC. The lobby is welcoming, the staff is great. The room was clean and comfortable. We don't eat breakfast, but we checked it out anyway and each grabbed an apple. It looked like a nice buffet for an included breakfast. We would absolutely stay here again.

The property was dirty unkept and staff was unprofessional. We spilled coffee and was yelled at by the cleaning woman. Was told not to use booking.com because they have trouble getting their money. Not my problem.. don’t share such information with me. I should be refunded by booking,com for this experience.

Good location close to New River Gorge National Park. One very nice employee at reception.

The place needs a deep clean. The hallway carpets are filthy and there were some spots in the bathroom that had been missed. The room smelled awful upon arrival and the windows were sealed shut. When I asked for an air purifier, they said they couldn't provide one unless we left the room for an hour. They did provide a fan which eventually helped. Two people were at the desk upon arrival. Only one was helping a guest. My presence was not acknowledged by the other until I stepped forward a little and I was given "the look" and told she would be right with me. Felt very unwelcoming. Just a very odd atmosphere at this La Quinta. I will give them that they asked me about the smell when I checked out. That was appreciated.

I was upset nowhere did it say that the hot tub was not working or available, and it wasn't posted about the pool heater not working. So the whole point of choosing this hotel was those things. We didn't get to do either. The next morning while checking out we saw a sign hidden on the front desk about the pool. We go down for breakfast and it's not available after 10, it was10 15. The didn't offer us a muffin or anything I would like reimbursed if possible

the hot tub was down the whole time we were there. my 18 month granddaughter would make a little mess in the breakfast area they would get upset about the clean up even though i offered to clean it. I guess they only service the room every 3 days well wanted fresh towels our second day and went and asked for some and said they were out. Never had that happen before, We did get some our last day there. Breakfast was good but need to realize kids are going to make a mess. We will probably stay somewhere else our next trip.

The breakfast was Soso but it’s a great location and very clean.

The staff was friendly but disorganized. They were having trouble with the elevators too.
