The breakfast was a plus, not a lot of variety, but the waffles, sausages, and eggs were good. They also had bagels and cereal, yogurt, and cream cheese. The rooms had a microwave and mini fridge. Check-in was fairly quick and without much of an issue. It did take the lady a couple of tries charging our card, but then it was good. The biggest pro for us was the breakfast included. I just wish they had a better variety, such as potatoes or something else. There were more things we didn't like than liked.

So first off, I requested adjoining rooms or rooms right next to each other, as we were traveling with four kids and a teenager. According to the lady, they didn't have rooms next to each other nor adjoining rooms. At least they were on the same floor. When we checked the first room, it smelled strongly of cleaners and dog feces and urine. I told my husband that this was awful and I could not sleep here. He never wants to make a fuss, so he said we'll check the other room. The other room was okay, but the bathroom (bath tub) was dirty. There also wasn't any hand soap, and the toilet paper was so thin, we had to use our little one's baby wipes. One of the blankets was smelly so we were one blanket short. And the worst part, the heater didn't work in the room! It just blew cold air and my poor kids now have a cough, and my husband and I are catching colds. For a La Quinta, we were VERY disappointed. We paid nearly $500 to have a nice WORKING hotel room and got motel room quality. We were better off camping at the lake!

The first room we were given looked and smelled horrible. Everything was beat up. Thankfully, we were able to change rooms. The second room was better than the first; however, overall the hotel needs some TLC. The breakfast was disappointing. Very limited options and the potatoes were barely cooked.

Went downstairs to ask for something. No one was at the desk. Took about 5 to 10 minutes to come out. It was myself and two other gentleman waiting to be helped.

The room was not clean. There was a huge blood stain on the blanket and some strange yellow stains. The only thing the staff at the desk said was that they were glad I informed them. She offered to move us to another room, but I informed her that I already asked the cleaning staff to change all the sheets on both beds. I told the office staff that I would speak with them upon leaving. The insult comes on the day I check out when I'm told that I'd be reimburst $30, which comes to 9.7% per day, of which the sheets were on changed till day two of our three day stay. I can not share any photos as the cleaning staff took the blankets out of the room right away.
