The location of the hotel felt safe and was well lit.
The lobby furniture was damaged and in ill repair, a precursor. The first room we were in, 102, smelled of mold, the shower head was coming off and there was toilet paper surrounding the fire sprinkler head. Second room, 202, had its own smell, kinda moldy but something else I can’t identify. There was hair from previous guests on the floor, water spots all over the cabinets, spots on the wall BEHIND THE TOILET that I used Lysol to wipe off, and the couches in both rooms were FILTHY with stains. We wouldn’t have stayed but we had trouble finding available rooms in the area. For the price we paid I was VERY disappointed. I’ve stayed at LaQuinta hotels before and always found them a great value and pleasant to stay at…this one is the exception to that rule. I was disappointed and had a very hard time resting at all on the room.

Location was great for visiting NASA and Kemah. Lots of good places to eat in walking distance and plenty of other stores.
Room was in good condition amd clean.
Elevator was dirty due to kids running around everywhere and to and from pool. I know the hotel can't help that, but since I stayed over the weekend until Monday, the hotel's one elevator was never touched up on.

The place was easy to get to and there was parking!
I actually found a small cockroach 🪳 in our room. The toilet seat was dirty. There was hair around it. The breakfast was good.

I LOVED being able to parallel park right in front and look down from my window at my vehicle. I like all the close restaurants and HEB that was near by. The Biscuits at breakfast the 1st day were some of the BEST ever.

The breakfast was okay not many options. The pool was nice except it was this weird green color so we didn't swim. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very spacious. Check out was nice and easy.
Again, the pool was not great and there were not a lot of breakfast options. There was graffiti everywhere in the elevators. Also, lots of random holes in the walls and no sign to let you know to watch out. There was a huge hole in the pool room, and it was very displeasing.

I chose this location specifically because of the pool/spa, so I was saddened when the spa/hot tub was out of service. I know equipment is bound to malfunction but I was still super bummed.

Good location, the building and areas around were clean
The spa was not working, the swimming pool was missing chairs and tables, some sheet rock needed fixing and the pool water looked dirty and temperature was too cold, they cleaned the room after the third day and breakfast was only some pastries, coffe, cereal, boiled eggs, sausage patties, buisqiutes and baggels everyday.

Room was a nice size. Very big room compared to others. Had 2 beds and a sleeper couch. Was very quiet. Loved that it had an indoor pool. Had a decent breakfast also . Sausage, biscuits, gravy, hard boiled eggs, bagels, cinnamon rolls, yogurts, juices , coffee, waffle maker . Overall was very happy with the stay.
Although we loved the indoor pool , the water was freezing. It was like icewater. We chose this hotel over others because it had an indoor pool. But it was so cold none of us really wanted to get back in after the first time. So that was a bit dissapointing. Location was okay. Was about 18 to 20 min drive from all the places we were visiting.

Seems way to many shopping networks on the TV.. didn't have a guide. Location needs better sign on main road. Breakfast could have been selection. Only had sausage, gravy and boiled eggs on hot side of the line.

The beds were very comfortable.
The doors had dings and paint missing. Outlet plates need to be replaced. Hall light switches wouldn't work, the light stayed on all night, because there wasn't a way to turn it off.

The staff were great! Very personable. They made you feel very welcome. Plus they allow pets (for a small charge per animal, per day).
The toilet is very loud and the floor shakes when youn flush, and you need to jiggle the handle to get it to stop running intermittently. The room was very clean, but had an old musty cigarette smell. Maybe this used to be a smoking room and now is a non-smoking?
