Great location close to everything downtown

Location, parking, restaurant, and especially the staff.

Liked everything.

The location was the first thing that really stood out, but the staff when we checked in really set the tone for our stay-super friendly and helpful! We loved the room when we got in and continued to love it our whole stay. The staff at the bar and restaurant was equally friendly. We really appreciated the close proximity to all the shops and restaurants in the downtown Golden area. We definitely plan to return!

I would rather have had king beds rather than queen beds, but that's a minor quibble.

The location of the hotel is perfect to walk downtown and to the river. Easy onsite parking. The inside is updated with a nice bit of history. The creek side rooms have a lovely view. Wonderful breakfast in the restaurant downstairs.

We had an issue with our room door not opening but Ryan happily moved us to a new room.

Didn't eat breakfast there. Walked to the Windy Saddle for a healthy breakfast.

The door locks were hard to get open and although we loved our room the windows are leaking air and the curtains were moving on the windy night we were there. We needed to turn up the thermostat the keep it warm.

We loved the room and the view and how quiet it was.

Situated in the center of Golden, directly at the river

There was a truck at 2:45 am unloading directly under our window, with the engine running. After a while my husband went to the reception and asked the receptionist to have this noise stopped. However, he said, that he couldn’t do anything about it. 2 hours later, when the truck left, the receptionist switched on music which prevented us from sleeping for the rest of the night. When we complained about the nightly noise at the reception in the next morning, she told us, that she cannot make anything about it, these are the schedules of the supplier. She did not even apologize. Not a place I really want to stay at.

comfy beds, nice linens and plush towels in the room. the quality of everything is outstanding and the location is perfect. pet friendly too!

when I arrived I was the only person in the lobby. the staff seemed to be handling some issue regarding another guest’s room, which I can understand, but they didn’t acknowledge me at all for an awkward amount of time, seeing as I was standing like two feet in front of them
