The location of the facility was just out of town but very convenient access to all roads into/out of Klamath Falls. The rooms was good size with sitting area separated from sleeping area. Shower was easy to use and there was plenty of water.
There is no restaurant onsite. We found coffee and pastries across the street so it was not a big deal. Proximity to college and our stay coinciding with start of semester meant we had a lot of 18-22 year olds onsite during our stay which slowed down checkin and checkout but not terribly so.

The location.
It was very old run down. Carpets stained and dirty, ants in our room. In the lobby no coffee, hot water ran out. No one to replenish it and people standing there waiting for some and no help.

The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and nice
When we pulled back the sheets on one of our beds, we found a pair of someone else's shorts and underwear. I called front desk, asking for a new set of sheets. They replied, I'll see if we have any extra, and no apologie. Someone finally brought some up. Had to strip our own bed and put clean sheets on. Hot tub was not working.Nothing on website that restaurant was closed, so no continental breakfast either. Asked for a discount, said sorry, because I booked through on-line reservation.

Room was very large with a microwave, refrigerator, 2 TVs, and multiple sinks. Location is great, close to OIT. Laundry room was large with multiple machines. Swimming pool was indoors. Staff at least provided towels and toiletries when asked.
Room didn't seem clean. The bathroom shower curtain smelled old/moldy. Hotel had a policy that they would not clean your room daily. They seemed to be low on staff for housekeeping. Exercise room had very little equipment. Hotel needs a renovation. Room looked very dated.

The room was very large and comfortable. AC was not working when we arrived, but was quickly resolved by their maintenance team in about 10 minutes.
Restaurant was not open in the morning, and no breakfast options were available. No coffee. Gasp!

Very nice facility and accommodations! The location was great in that you are on a main state highway and close to all types of restaurants. My room faced west, overlooking a lake. The sunset was amazing. The $10 breakfast buffet was a great value. The pre-prepared food was fresh and appetizing. Good selections. Good coffee. Good staff.
TV picture quality was poor. Interesting hiccup. The remote control for the TV in the sitting area controlled both tv's (sitting area, bedroom) at the same time. I manually turned off the bedroom tv only for it to come back on anytime I changed the channel on the sitting area tv. I had to unplug the bedroom tv, lol.

Shilo Inn in Klamath Falls is always a wonderful place to stay. We always stay there when we are in the area and enjoy the pool/spa area and the view of upper Klamath Lake. The rooms are very nice with a kitchennette and we usually have the King room so we have a couch and a dining table.
This hotel is excellent and we haven't found any drawbacks. everyone is always nice and helpful.

The staff was helpful, the rooms were amazing and large, and the location was great!
There seemed to be a lot of issues related to short staffing. The elevators didn't work, and our room was on the 3rd floor. The staff did offer to take our luggage up the freight elevator. The restaurant was also closed (permanently) and there weren't any other options for breakfat.
