no pool or breakfast as advertised. the people that own the place were very nice and their dogs were adorable and friendly, they seem like good people. The tile in the bathroom was duck taped, newer wood floor was caving in already, the toilet was not attached to the floor and banged against the wall any time you used it, ants in room, smelled fine but mattresses were stained bad… sheets looked fine. the room didn’t smell bad and the A/C worked and the tv worked great. checked the windows as always and there was no way to lock them, we put a drawer from the dresser to keep it from being able to be opened. the room was $40 at the time and it was late so we booked the room based off the pictures available and didn’t see the reviews after booking…. the room is not refundable and we were tight on money at the time. If I was able to see the the ratings and remarks before booking the room we would’ve paid the $150 at the motel 6 down the road for the security of locked windows and a good nights sleep.

The first person we encountered did not know what to answer. the second person had to be probed for answers.

it was ran down the ceilings were bubbling and they painted the bathroom over tile that was chipping and looked bad just plain bad. no working tv remote and this place is a dive that’s for sure. drapes were falling off the window.

It's comfortable and clean. Outdated in the bathrooms but that doesn't bother me.

What I didn't like had nothing to do with the room. I watched the owner hurt a dog but when he saw i was watching he went n got treats for the dog.

The hotel was close to the freeway, was clean, didn’t smell, no bugs, comfortable beds with 3 pillows each. All the essentials were there had a good functioning heater/ AC, tv worked well with plenty if channels, working wifi and plenty of hot water. The owner looks to have taken some of the negative complaints as a way to improve.

This hotel is on the historic route 66 and looks to be an original hotel. It has at some time had an undated but still needs work. When I was reading the reviews I was a little worried to stay here but understanding its an old hotel we gave it a chance. While not perfect I enjoy my stay and will give it a chance in the future.

I usually ignore bad reviews for places if I just need a place to crash while road-tripping on a highway cuz I don’t need amenities, all I need is a bed… don’t ignore these bad reviews!

the bed was itchy, dirty, and uncomfortable. there was no one available when I checked out at 6am, even after I rang the bell, so I didn’t get my receipt. and I am covered in bites!

Nothing to like about this place.

Everything could be better. Worst hotel I have stayed. Believe me, I have stayed in all kinds of places!
