The location, the city is very pretty.
No issues,

Dated and broken. Elevator#2 didn’t work entire stay, room cleaning was sub par, emergency exit stairwell was filthy

They had a beautiful hotel
Super expensive food…. The pool was super busy so we couldn’t get in… they never had a reserve time slot for people with anxiety around others

The GM Lee Arthur was an arrogant jerk. He refused to honor our group rate that was confirmed by his staff 4 days earlier.

the $50 charge which I'm assuming is an incidental hold, that's still pending on my credit card, a week after my departure.

The staff were very kind and helpful..It was very clean..I would definitely make this another trip with family and friends and stay longer 🙂

the bed was so comfortable. It was a king. The room was huge very roomy. It also had a great view of the city. There was a restaurant and we just wanted tea. The waitress didn't charge. breakfast was buffet only so the waitress only charged us for one. She didn't have any other help.
The area around in Utica is so depressing. Building vacant and run down. We did find a restaurant recommended by the woman at dunkin donuts.

The room was good size. The staff were very friendly.
The carpet was dirty. I walked around my room in my bare feet and then took a shower and the tub turned black from the dirt on my feet.

The person who checked me in was outstanding. I like the shampoo and soaps in the shower.

Did not eat in the hotel but we ordered room service and it was good. Our room only had 1 cup for the coffee, and there was no creamer. Not everyone drinks black coffee.
We requested extra pillows in the room, it was not there. The nice lady at the front desk , gave us 2 extra pillows for my back.
