Beautiful old world charm with multitude of places to hang out throughout the day.
Oddly for such a beautiful hotel and an Omni brand, the one thing that should come easy to them was kind of a disaster - the mattress and pillows. My hip joints ached from the old, settled and bottomed out mattress.
The pillows were 3/4” thick if you lay them just right.
I am 47, so maybe it’s just me, but I think I will start traveling with my own pillows, just in case facility pillows are not up to snuff. If I could bring a mattress though, I would do that too.

Beautiful vintage old property with clean wonderful rooms and nice restaurant on the property!
I do not agree with self parking fees when you charge a resort fee!

This historic hotel is beautiful and unique. It preserves its history and stunning architecture while being modern and welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive but never overbearing.

The location is amazing
Presidential Wing is too far from the lobby, and there is no alot of elevators in the property, there is 1 on the lobby its very old elevator and there is no enough space on it

It’s really beautiful space. A lot of history happened here and they’ve done a nice job preserving the building and decorating with old photographs and information. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were top quality. The outdoor fire pits were a nice addition. The mountain views were gorgeous.
I thought the food was overpriced for the quality of the meal experiences. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, including some of the furnishings.

The historical building with astonishing overall design everywhere, starting from the hall and rooms, plenty of space to get alone and enjoy the atmosphere, there history of the place is so exciting. It is like traveling in time. Don't skip the hotel tour available for free for all guests. The hotel is amazing, the spa is okay, we have been only in outdoor pool, and we loved that experience. The coffee shop downstairs with plenty chose of fresh pastries is really good.
Restaurant is overpriced for that variety of food, breakfast and dinner is probably okay, I didn't say that the food was bad, but it could be better I guess.

Sehr schöne Lage, Historisches Hotel, imposante Eingangshalle.Gutes Essen.
Allgemein schlechter und sehr abgenutzter Zustand.Sehr altes Bad und Zimmerausstattung.Haustechnik ist „End of Life“. Keine Kaffeemaschine oder Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Kaffe muss teuer am Kiosk gekauft werden. Geräte im Gym sind kaputt Defekt & gefährlich.
Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht. Liegenschaft & Ausstattung braucht ein dringende Erneuerung.

Room was tiny, walls were paper thin, bed was quite broken and small. there was an alarm set for 6am on the clock in the room that woke us up. The facilities are all extremely old and the hotel very poorly maintained. Extremely expensive for a low level hotel/motel. After we complained about the above and several other issues (non stop noise from other rooms throughout the night and more) we were told the manager will get in touch (twice) and that hasn’t happened.

The hotel itself is wonderful. We love old hotels. The location was amazing. The staff were 100% helpful and nice. The cocktails and wine were all great. We loved the heated outdoor pool and hiking trails. Next time we will try horseback riding because we will definitely return.

The breakfast was wonderful only exceeded by the wait staff and the chef. They were all so pleasant and engaging. Your staff made our 50th wedding anniversary a cherished memory!

The exterior and interior were beautiful.
The pool and spa were comfortable.
Accommodation is too expensive.
Water was leaking from my room’s toilet.
Coffee service is given only in the morning.
The capacity of all restaurants aren’t enough, especially when it’s rain.
The sound and voice in hall can be heard through the door into the room.

Very nice location , serene environment
1. Room was small and dated, rusty shower, old shower curtains , not what you expect when you key over $400 per night
2. Food selection is very limited and mostly fast food type of quality

Always enjoy staying at this historic grand hotel. Very nice rooms and restaurants.
Would love to stay more often but cost is prohibitive. Waiter seated us at a table with blocked view of the mountain when there were many other tables with view available. He did move us to a better table when requested..

Breakfast buffet was good. The hotel architecture is breathtaking has an amazing old world feel. The pool and seating outside was very nice. The view and location is amazing. Convenient for eating at the hotel and not having to leave if you don’t want to. Also a good location to excursions. Wait staff was eager to please.
The bathroom had cobwebs on ceiling. Had to call to have fridge cleaned because it had mold in it. Broken curtain and outlet in light fixture. Baby pulled out a loose piece of leather with nails was hanging under a chair in the room. Overpriced food at stickneys pub. Hotel was not offering room service. Had an extra charge for a meal that we did not have, they took it off the bill but said it would be investigated.

Dinner at the restaurant was expensive but good. The room was dirty when we checked in.
Room dirty upon checkin. Staff not apologetic or concerned. Just sent room service. At 300 a night, the room should be clean and the staff concerned.

Geographic location and mountain view, the interior decoration is very good
There is only one breakfast in the hotel, and there are too few choices.

I felt the staff could be a little more welcoming. the front desk staff were awkward and seemed annoyed.

location
the staff was not pleasant. I felt very uncomfortable. the restaurant menu was not the same as they advertised on line. I was checking in was running a couple minutes late for spa appointment they would not help me with my car. they took every minute I was late even me getting undressed in locker room away from my facial then charged me full price. I would understand if they was busy but there was no one there. I had a major reaction to facial because the lady never told me what she was putting on my face and all I got was a sorry small bottle of sunblock. I kept calling room service front desk kept transferring my call no one would answer. I went downstairs because I gave up trying the fallowing day I tried again then was told sorry there is no room service for this month. would not recommend this place and it’s very sad because it’s such a beautiful hotel and wonderful location.

The hotel is simply stunning. The grandeur and opulence are almost overwhelming. Our room was huge, with a king bed and views to Mt Washington. The bedding was luxurious and the meals, both breakfast and dinner, were superb.
The was a bedside lamp on only one side of the bed and no bedside power points. The bathroom was a little on the small side.

I like that they upgraded me for free and the view out my window of Mount Washington was beautiful
The only thing I would have to say is that I was having problems with the TV and they tried to fix it a couple times but it did not fix but that's the only thing I have to say

Brunch display was very nice. Our server Ina was very nice.
Food not hot enough.

The hotel itself is one-of-a-kind. Beautiful, ornate, and full of history. The location is incomparable. We were able to get a reduced rate through Booking.com that made it possible for us to afford to stay for several days. We could not have afforded the standard rate.
1) Small things matter, especially in a luxury hotel. A small in-room fridge would have been nice; far less expensive hotels and motels have them.
2) There were two bottles of water supplied on our first night, but even though it was obvious that we had consumed those (empty bottles left on the counter) they were not supplied on our 2nd and 3rd days. The housekeepers were great, and I suspect that it is the hotel's policy not to resupply the water. I can't understand that. Small thing. Important, however.
3) Finally, the policy of charging $210 per day for incidentals was not adequately explained, is excessive, and it was aggravating waiting for that money to be refunded to my credit card account (we spent nothing on incidentals).

Hotel views were absolutely phenomenal. Food was good but pricey. Enjoyed the heated pool during a snow storm.
The $230 hold per night. Menu prices vs food quality.
