Location of the hotel, lots of restaurants within walking distance, free breakfast buffet, super friendly front desk agent, spacious room, quiet, comfortable bed.

The history. The staff were polite and friendly. The piano that was open for guests to play.

The hotel needs some maintenance and updating. It has seen better days. It was incredibly smelly. Smelled like yesteryears cigarette smoke.

It was close to everything! No more than a 10 minute walk to anywhere we wanted to go! We reported an issue with possible smokers on our floor and it was immediately taken care of. Also loved having a bar in the hotel!

My only issue was that my particular room did not have shades on the windows. When the sun came up it was a little too bright that early in the morning.

Location and price

It was a late check in but the Person at the front desk was very courteous, cheerful, and helpful. When we went to the room and had a trouble understanding some of the controls, he immediately cam up to shw us how.

There was an incident of a person falling down and dying? as we were checking out. We were surprised that we were allowed to leave the premises without the police taking our statement.

Great location, very friendly staff, and easy parking (huge parking lot around back).

The building is visibly dated..I do believe that's part of it's charm.

The restaurant food was horrible

Totally different from the chain hotels. Really nice, comfortable room and the staff was fantastic.

The jacuzzi tube wasn't clean, there was brown flakes floating in the water after we turned on the jets

Our stay was great

The whole building gave you a feel of comfort history and a great atmosphere. Christmas theme in the lobby and such was excellent. The rooms were very clean. They didn't have any smell. They were just clean. Clean has no smell. We enjoyed our stay. We will be coming back in the area. We are expecting to stay at Genetti again Really enjoyed the breakfast. It was a restaurant meal not a warmed up. Bagged food. Liked that it had a restaurant in the building and a lounge can't say enough for how much we enjoyed our stay

Not much to say that we did not like if I was to be picky I would say could have had a walk-in shower instead of a tub/shower and that's looking for something just to say I didn't like.

Staying at the Genetti is always a wonderful experience. It's our first option whenever staying in the Williamsport area. The staff is wonderful, and all have a "how can we help " attitude. The free full breakfast equals or exceeds any other hotel. Always becomes a special occasion, even if it's just an overnight.

A bit disappointed at the restaurant. This was a birthday gift to my partner, and we had checked off our preferences online in anticipation. Once there, we found that they were doing a limited menu because of shows and activities in and near the hotel. I understand it, and what we had was wonderful, but it dampened the spirit. We will happily return though.
