Walking on the beach so close by

We walked out our front door, crossed the street and were on the beach. It wasn't a busy time of the year (Jan.), so we had most of the beach to ourselves. If you like searching for seashells, there were many. An easy 10 blocks away (.5 miles) there was a small section where there were shops, restaurants, cafe's and ice cream. Very quiet, if that's what you are looking for.

The unit was dated, but they are upgrading them.

This was a very nice quiet location. Right across the street from the gulf (there weren't any on the beach per hurricane protocols).

Found this little gem last minute about one month before Spring Break. Can’t believe it was still available. Stayed in Apt 303. Quietly situated right across a lightly traveled two lane road from a beautiful beach. Busy on the weekends as would be expected but not with the hard core spring break crowd. Several restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk and sunsets that could not be beat. Rooms were clean although not really updated with “modern” decor and finishes. Didn’t need this to enjoy the beach and pool. Kitchen was reasonably stocked. Felt completely safe and secure. Pass-a-Grille was a diamond along the southern end of the St. Pete Beach strip. If you want high rise condos, fast food and souvenir shops on every corner, you better head farther north along the beach. If you are looking for relaxation, this is your place.

I am a golfer—have been my whole life. I would have to concede that this is not a golfer’s paradise. We played Cypress Creek, Mangrove Bay, Rocky Point, and TPC Tampa. First three all reasonable municipal courses. TPC Tampa lived up to the TPC standards. All, however, were at least a 30 minute drive, TPC nearly an hour. Corners and crevices could use a little cleaning attention and a couple of extra blankets in the closets would have been nice.
