Front desk gal, Laurabie, was very helpful. My room was not made up when I arrived at 5PM so she arranged for me to stay in an upgraded room. It really was lovely to hear the stream that runs through Taos Ski Valley all night long! I left the Arcadia door open all night to allow cool air in and it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. No cars, airplanes, nothing. There were other guests but I never heard a sound.
Decor is a bit dated and they were doing construction at the time. Understandably you need to do outside work during the summer there. But they didn't make noise till 8:30AM. Would have liked more restaurants to be open past 8PM?

location, weather and the sound of water stream in room when window was open.
Dirty, leftover of food and bottles, dirty carpet, dirty restroom, I had to clean the toilets from others leftovers to use it. building work in progress as we stay in place - never mentioned.

River outside the window was nice.
Sinks and toilet seat were dirty.

Location was great
Cleaning staff left a trash bag of leftover food from the refrigerator on the kitchen counter for 12+ hours so the entire place smelled really bad when we arrived for our late check in.

the location is the only good thing about it
paper thin walls, non functioning hot tub and sauna, and rude owner

We stayed one night for our hike the next morning up the Wheeler peak. The hot tub was perfect for a crisp autumn evening. The center of town location can't be beat. And the hike was just spectacular!
There is a loft bed with a straight up-and-down ladder that is certainly not suitable for people with physical limitations or fear of height. It was not an issue for us, but the listing was not clear about this, so just want to alert folks when you book to double check.

very cute, super comfortable beds, even for the smaller loft rooms. nice toiletries provided, the hot tub is fab! the front desk was really nice with a late check in. great place and pet friendly!

Very nice suite. We had everything we needed and the daily maid service was a plus. Chilly outside, but we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the river.
The room was too hot the first night, but the young man at the front desk showed us how to adjust the floor heaters and we were comfortable.

The place is lovely and romantic. Great deal in summer season (no skiing). There is a lovely stream running through the property, right below our window trilling quietly. Mountain and pine air everywhere. Naranjas cafe has a nice brunch or lunch, price in low teens. You are in nature. Ahhhhh.
P.s. I saw some reviews about old sheets etc. Nothing like that on my stay, immaculate. Any issues see Maddy at the front desk, who looks a bit like Ana de Armas, actress last Bond flick.
Off season, so no staff to clean the occasional leaf off the hot tub but not bad, tub is on a deck overlooking the mountainside. The ladder to access the bedroom loft not for seniors, but they have rooms without it or there's a pullout sofa. A bit far from Santa Fe or Trinidad but nice views. Also a very good point to access the very remote Great Sand Dunes.

It is so beautiful with a river flowing and the green forestry and breathtaking views!
Construction/remodeling...Bob the builder was going hard & late. The hot tub wasn't ready yet for the summer season.

Last minute stay. Off season. All near by trails , campgrounds, fishing basically all out door activities were not allowed . The state & Federal Resources were busy with large forest fires at the time. We had the place to ourselves.

The location and the staff were nice and helpful.
The room was too warm and the thermostat was useless. Couldn’t open the window, slept with the patio door cracked open
