The bar area was buzzy and fun. Most of the staff were friendly and upbeat.
Our check in experience could have been better Not the most friendly welcome I've ever had.
Not enough storage space in the room. Very little wardrobe or drawer space.

Likely the nicest hotel outside of midtown or downtown area in NYC. The room was spectacular with fantastic city views. Bathroom and tub are huge. Bed is really comfy. The room service food and restaurant downstairs is great. I ate there multiple times and all the food hit. Service is exceptional. Shout out to my man Omar working there.
The gym isn’t great. It’s not terrible but is small and can get very crowded at peak times. The giant weight machine in the middle needs to be thrown in the trash.

Location is amazing
They don’t have a service elevator and during the day the staffs have so much big laundry karts or boxes and so frequent uses of the elevator (don’t get me wrong of course they should use the elevators) but this also means at 10am you take at least 30mins to try to go to the lobby so that was not nice at all. Bathtub water were really really brown even after running it for a hour. And the rooms are small

Room and view from it , very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom , location was very good and staff could not be better . Roof top terrace was also a big plus
Lighting -not enough light for reading at night -however small lamp was provided
Bedside tables too small and too low

Great patio attached to our room , our own private NY rooftop! Loved our stay here
9.0
- it is a stylish place, in line with what you would expect in NYC
- friendly staff, nice reception
- the room is nicely decorated, well maintained
- the location is great, bang next to Katz’s for breakfast and a short haul to the subway
- long waiting time at the elevators
- it’s not cheap but that is to be expected in NYC

good room, linen was a bit plasticy, and room a bit dark but otherwise great

Loved our stay in the Ludlow, comfortable rooms and for NYC standards size is OK, great design, fun lobby for drinks, and location is great, walk around east village or Soho and close to subway stop. Good Gym + nice views from rooftop. We thought it was also very quiet for NYC. Slept really well
Food in the restaurant is very medium and expensive, would go somewhere else in town.

Staff was super helpful, the rooms well equipped and the location and roof view from the gym excellent. We also got rooms located very close as we requested and the neighborhood atmosphere was electric.
However, the rooms were the exactly opposite of spacious and the food offerings pricy. But guess that's NYC. Also Ludlow Street gets loud on Fri and Sat so would have been nice to be higher up than 4th floor travelling with a small child. However, none of the downsides were really downsides or would stop us from returning to The Ludlow.

View was nice and everything was within walking distance

The staff was amazing -- professional, friendly, and helpful. The room was comfortable and the lobby was a cozy place to hang.

It was relaxed & friendly.
No complaints.

Omar on the front desk was excellent. He really started our trip off with a bang and exceeded our expectations, as communication with the hotel pre arrival was a little poor.

The room and view from the King Loft Suite were second to none.

- Lovely reception team and door men
- Lobby bar has a lovely vibe. Some people working on laptops, but it still felt relaxed
- excellent mattress
- wonderful views (room 1905)
- very clean
- room windows that open(fresh air is important)
- More healthy food options on room service would be great
- too much furniture in our room (3 lounge seats for a 2 person room) space is a premium in NYC, you only need one sofa or 2 armchairs. then we would have enough room for suitcases
- more hangers needed in the room

Beautiful property, loved the design of the rooms/lobby/bar, nice outdoor space, great location - we were able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. loved our room (603), front desk staff were great, housekeeping even folded all my kids clothes they left everywhere!
One server at the lobby bar had a real attitude - it stuck out b/c everyone else was so nice, welcoming and professional. Did not return to the lobby bar because of that.

The design and charm of the hotel is beautiful. My favourite spot is the lobby. It’s so cozy and beautiful. It’s the perfect NYC hotel. Our room was small but the design and the functionality of it was perfect for my husband and I’s stay. We want our home to look like the bedroom and bathroom. The staff are so incredibly kind and helpful. It wasn’t too far from the subway and great restaurants!
The only thing I would say is that the shower didn’t put out a lot of water. The pressure was very low. The faucet was touchy and didn’t constantly run water if it was moved one way or next. That could of been just our room.

Great friendly staff, great vibe and decor.
Lack of storage in room.
