Breakfast was great. Afternoon wine was a lovely touch.

Location. Close to USF, Haight Street, and Whole Foods.
Unfortunately our bathroom sink was clogged but was repaired the next day.

The location of this hotel is amazing. I used to live in Cole Valley for over 2 decades and it was such a treat to be back. The staff that cleaned the rooms was kind and helpful. The wine hour from 5-6 was a really nice touch!
The rooms are small without much to them. They could use a little mini fridge to make it a bit more comfortable. The wifi also stopped working well a few days into my stay. The staff behind the front desk were hit and miss...some never breaking a smile or saying good morning, others more helpful. At times, they wouldn't be available and instead would leave up a sign saying they would return shortly, which was not great for check in after a long flight. The free breakfast was nice, but the doors to the area were kept closed most of the time and it didn't have a very inviting feel.

The receptionist helped us bring in our luggage while we parked the car in the lot across the street. Right beside Hippie Hill and hip restaurants and stores. Close to all San Francisco attractions. Charming and welcoming. The breakfast buffet offered many healthy choices.

The breakfast was simply horrible - the very low end of what could be expected.
The location of this hotel is great. This is the only positive thing that can be said about this hotel. On the negative side, I would mention the poor breakfast, the horrible service by the receptionists, the old decor rooms, and above all these - the unreasonable price.

Room was basic but comfortable. Great location and friendly staff.
Lack of tea & coffee making facilities in room. Very noisy next to the street. The room was quite cold. The breakfast was mediocre considering the price of the hotel.

The location was great, right across from Golden Gate Park and next door to a dispensary and Irish Pub. They offered free wine, from 5 - 6p and continental breakfast. They also had healthy snacks as well to grab for free.
The room did not have a mini fridge, microwave, or AC unit. There also weren't any vending machines, so bring your own drinks.

Overall it was good and good location. It is close to the bus and metro station.
The wifi in room 202 is very bad, it drops continuously and only worked more or less well in the bathroom. Breakfast did not have many options.

I’ve been patient at ucsf for 2 years and the always appreciate the STAFF always go above and beyond to make sure my family and I are comfortable and need any assistance with anything we need

I like that it was close to a main park so I can take an easy walk around the area !

Room was extremely clean and had everything needed for a good stay. Shower was great, beds as well. Great location and they provided water, wine and coffee as courtesy which was delightful :) Location is also amazing.
It was very noisy and not at all private. The window on my bathroom opened to a common area. There are no elevators so if you are traveling with a heavy luggage and/or has mobility difficulties it's going to be very hard for you.

Nice comfortable rooms. Excellent location. Easy for public transport into the city. Wine hour is a nice extra.
Everything at breakfast is wrapped in plastic and disposable. Lot of waste!
