Needs to be updated

It was spacious enough for us, the people were responsive to our needs. The outside of the property was great. Parking was great.

the listing said it slept 6, we had 5 people, but there were only enough beds for 4 people. There were lots of bugs in the home and one of our daughters had to sleep on the floor and woke up with a spider crawling on her two different nights. The house is in rough shape. As our friend put it that came to see us while we were there, "they have a lot of guts renting this place out in this condition". The kitchen could be better stocked with cooking supplies, or at least say on the listing that the kitchen is not well stocked and guests need to bring an extra bed or two in order to sleep 6. We had a great time and are glad we had a house to stay in with a kitchen, but I do think they owners need to be aware that the house needs some work to rent out for that price.

Love the yard and the fire pit, it is just enough away from town, not lots of walking traffic so you can relax outside. It is still within walking distance to the store. Perfect little getaway spot. We love staying at this cottage

The bedroom didnt have a door, but that wasnt awful, it has just had one in the past. the door code didnt work for the back door, so we just left it ajar while we were outside by the firepit to get in and out easier, than walking to the front

Check in was nice and staff was very nice. Rooms clean and facilities worked well.

The Bed rolls to the center. Shower head neads replaced or cleaned. Back door was drafty. And the walk way was a little slippery.

Close to Lava Hot Springs pools. Beds were ok. TV worked well.

Pictures didn’t match actual unit. Expected a small white house, but got an old second floor apartment over businesses on Main St. Frigid temperature inside the unit (December 30th) and took 6 hours to get warm. No extra blankets or towels. Old and outdated, lots of broken or damaged things (holes in walls & ceilings, broken towel rack & toilet paper holder, old beat up kitchen table, carpets were old, dirty, mold by shower). No privacy in bathrooms with just flimsy curtains with gaps instead of actual doors. Shower floor was either really stained or really dirty. Smelled old and musty. Noise from street and loud people outside along Main St. late into the night, along with trains blaring horns several times at night. Bright lights outside the window keep the main bedroom lit up, making it harder to sleep.

Mattresses need replaced. Both beds very uncomfortable

It was a simple and very comfortable place. It was great that it is just a block walk to the hot springs and shopping. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The bathroom was clean and tastefully renovated. I loved the detail of the oil lamp diffuser and other nice touches.

The bed in living area was a bit lumpy so it had a slant to it but still comfortable after adjusting.

bait and shift advertising House was not located at 155 East Main St. Lava Hot Springs We were redirected to 344 west main Picture in the ad was 20 or 30 years old. Current house is dilapidated, spongy floors, everything was old. Walkway was almost non existent, cracked, broken concrete, not as shown in the ad.
