Common areas clean and well maintained. Same with building exterior, landscaping and parking lot.
The interior finishing looks like it was done by homeowner DIY person, not professional tradesmen.

Breakfast was not provided at the Mountain Inn. However we did receive a coupon for waffles at a nearby facility. Probably good but it did not work with our schedule so we did not use it.

There was no lock in bathroom. When I reported to the manager, he said he will make a note, but it didn't get fixed during my stay.

Breakfast was not included in the room price, which was fine with me. Instead, there is a well-stocked "pantry" where guests can choose what they want to eat and pay for items individually. Great option for those who do want to eat before heading out for the day.

We loved the location, the feeling of being close to nature, hiking, and delicious foods/shops. We really wanted to visit the winery down the hill, but there was so much to do, we didn't have time! The fridge was cold, and the shower was hot! The kids loved the hammocks, and the relaxing atmosphere was just what we needed!
The air conditioner was loud and made a weird ticking noise that woke us up a few times during the night, but it wouldn't deter us from staying again!

How could a place like this not have major TV channels such as ESPN etc. Rouko is a joke and did not have any channels to watch NCAA games. This place fir the price was a big disappointment. Will never stay there again !!!’

Provided us with all we needed for our stay. Was clean and orderly. staff was terrific and extremely helpful.
Was pretty bare bones, but had all we needed as the main purpose was skiing not so much hanging out at the hotel.

Very pleasant and friendly and helpful staff. The facilities were clean and in good repair.
Wish there was more facilities such as a pool and hot tub but was not advertised as such therefore not really a complaint.

Stay at Mountain Inn was fine. Could have been any 2-star budget hotel.
Skiing at Lutsen was awful. They’re not user friendly and price gouge left and right. Key trails are permanently closed but not marked on the map.

Everything was great
mattress was slipping too much from the base. And i think they need more lighting in parking area. other that everything was great we really enjoyed. Staff was really friendly and helpful. we will come back ...

Kim’s service was excellent. Fabulous host who was had superb ideas on what to do in the area. Thankful for the clean room and amenities offered. Excellent proximity to beautiful places I enjoyed exploring. Grateful to have booked. Should have stayed longer. :)
I was in no way dissatisfied with my stay. A hot breakfast would’ve been a cherry on top but I was thankful for what was provided and available. It’s only a bonus suggestion but otherwise I absolutely loved my stay.
