Perfect location, repeat guests

We have been to St. Augustine many times and have stayed in several different accommodations. We were excited to try this place as it is right across the street from OC Whites (a favorite of ours) and the inlet as well as super central to everything. On unlocking the door, I was happily surprised by the size of the room and the way it was furnished and decorated. It had a large king bed a table with two chairs and a mini kitchen with a small fridge. The bathroom had a nice soaking tub, lots of shampoos and soaps and makeup removers which were great to have. Staff was helpful and accommodating over the phone - never met anyone in person. This location is so close to so much St. Augustine downtown has to offer... just a short walk to St. George Street. The room even had some view of the water of the inlet.

First world issues: AC was on a bit cold on arrival (so we turned it up) and I could have done with a little less fluffy of a pillow - just my preference. Feeling sorry for us yet? lol If you are looking for a hotel with a pool and amenities, this is not the place for you, just a lovely room to rest your head at the end of the day exploring the city.

checking in. you have to call. we had no mobile reception and this made it hard. having to park away from the room was awkward.

it was hard to reach the service desk. phone given was called but not picked up and had to call at different times for assistance. parking was assigned but taken by others.

Location, location, location! Without knowing for sure where we needed to be when we booked, we were elated to discover you were located adjacent to the art gallery we came to visit! It made our trip effortless. I especially am fond of the "just let yourself in" check-in. No hassles, no lines, not having to produce ID, credit card, etc.

Everything was perfect! Even the street parking. Again we did not know exactly where your location was...turns out we parked directly below our room!

Great location, room was comfortable, price was reasonable, owner communication was terrific, staff (when we saw them) was friendly. Very walkable area of town.

Saturday night was NOISY, I think the roof top bar next door was loud as well as the foot traffic (drunks). No sleeping until they shut down. Parking was a challenge, owners told us what we needed to know. still inconvenient. Learn to work the parking restriction for close parking. City needs to figure out their homeless population issue. Learn from Charleston SC

the location was great and the room size was awesome.

The handle was broken on the toilet, so had to reach in reserve tank to manually flush. The streaming is horrible for the TV. Wanted to see the weather and couldn’t get more than 10 minutes at any time. Parking is too far down street. Need to work something with the Restaurant that owns it to allow patrons parking near the inn.

hard to find rooms and parking is a few blocks away. owners are not there. u fortunately, a wedding party was celebrating all night outside our room so no sleep for us! it was a Saturday night. I would like one soft pillow. my bus loved the hard pillows.

The street noise was awful during the night. Had we known we would have asked for a different room.

Location was great, walkable. But because of a window A/C with venting that left the window partly open, it was incredibly noisy all night (2am to dawn) from activities on the street below. Eateries were closed so we thought perhaps illegal purchases were being made on the corner because the noise would end and about a 1/2 hour later start up again. (Springbreakers snd Bikers in town)

Parking lot issues and non responsiveness to our car being dented in the designated employee spaces. We understood parking was off-site and the location was a reasonable distance BUT ..when we got to the lot our designated space was taken. After reaching management, we were told to park on the adjacent grass area which was designated as EMPLOYEE parking. So we did. We only removed our car once during our stay and that was to bring in an additional suitcase to our room. We immediately returned the car to the employee area of the lot. Cars were parked two deep requiring one car to back up and sure enough one did into our convertible. It's a rather minor dented area in our grille. With our car there are no minor fixes and the entire part will need to be replaced. I brought this to management's attention along with a photo immediately as we left last month. They indicated they would pass it on to the owner. It's been nearly a month, and nothing. Some kind of acknowledgement from them, even in a form of an apology would have been expected. Even if they didn't accept responsibility for the mishap. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Excellent location!

There was a distinct smell of damp; the housekeeper was unwelcoming; the room (top floor) had little natural light and its name 'superior studio' a tad over-optimistic.
