Welcoming and cozy, we greatly enjoyed our fireplace warmed room and spa bath features. Everyone we spoke to was friendly; they've built a great atmosphere.

Parking isn't great, but they work to make up for it by offering valet services.

Location, room size

Parking was a nightmare especially when being charged $15/night.

The location was great and the staff was friendly.

The carpet in the room was very dirty/stained, if it was clean it didn’t look it. They should stick to a cold breakfast, the “hot” food was totally cold. I’m assuming it was cooked at 7 AM, there was a light of sorts above it but it did nothing to keep it warm. If you can’t offer hot eggs, just leave it to a continental breakfast. The rest of the food was fine. It would be good to have caffeinated tea as an offering, not just herbal. I heard a few tea-drinkers comment on it.

The staff were great. They were friendly and accomodating. The room was beautiful and comfortable leading to a good night's sleep. The breakfast was very tasty.

The television didn't work even after two calls to have it fixed and the jets in the bathtub didn't work either. For the price of the room, that was a big black mark.

the building is a little creaky but that’s to be expected!

The historic building has some really nice aspects, and the equipment in the bathroom is very nice (soaking tub and multi head shower).

The room was advertised as sound proof—however we could hear our own TV at a very low volume when standing down the hall. We also could hear our neighbors “vigorously celebrating” in their room, next to ours—could be heard in our own room and very, very loudly from the hallway. Very little privacy for a suite—and it’s just thirty feet from the check in desk on the first floor. The room was very, very small and dominated by the bed. It seemed like at the end of the day we were just paying for the accoutrements of the bathroom—rather than a suite. The bathroom itself, even with nice equipment was incredibly cramped and hard to relax in. (The toilet is incredibly close to the soaking tub—ie; if one person is soaking and one needs to use the facilities).
